The harder Biden fights to open the border, the worse he looks.

The longer the border remains closed, the worse Biden looks.

It's quite the problem for him, IMO.

Texas has the advantage because they don't have to actively DO anything, the feds are the ones who need to break through their line and cut the wire.

Texas and America for the win

I’m a Texas district judge...all of my 6 counties have been affected by the Feds’ policies over the last 3 years, 2 in particular. I welcome what the governor is doing but this is a ‘too little, too late.” My guess is that the internal polling flipped and it was now ok to get tough with Biden. I have ethical boundaries of what I can say but I can advocate for changes in existing law. The change in existing law that I am advocating for is that Texas becomes a sovereign independent nation again.

Texas and the Guard ALONE are displaying the brass to uphold the Constitution while the 3 branches

have all betrayed their oaths to support and defend the Constitution specifically

Article IV/Section IV: INVASION

It is particularly sad when considering how many have sacrificed throughout our history

to preserve FREEDOM

So many things that people are getting wrong.

1. The 'Guard' in this case is the Texas STATE Guard NOT the National Guard. The National Guard can be federalized (taken over by Biden as Commander in Chief.) The STATE guard cannot. They work for the Governor and only the Governor. No Federal money, no Federal control.

So they can keep on guarding the border as long as Texas is willing to pay.

2. The Supreme Court failed to uphold an injunction by the 5th Circuit against the Feds that said they could NOT remove the wire. In that the 5th Circuit Judge might have overstepped bounds. He was acting more as a 'tyrant of the bench' than a jurist. (That can happen on the conservative side.) But it didn't change the status quo. The wire remains, the Guard is guarding the border and Border Patrol is locked out against cutting it. (The area is Texas State land. Feds have zero jurisdiction. They're just used to being able to muscle anyone they want. Try muscling Texas State Guardsmen who outnumber and outgun them.)

SCOTUS didn't say 'you may cut the border wire' and take away the power from the state. They said 'you (the judge) can't order the Federal government to NOT cut the wire until the lawsuit plays out.' This wasn't the slam dunk that it seems nor a 'backstab' that many conservatives seem to think. It was the SCOTUS saying 'you need to hit all the check boxes before making a judicial order about a dispute between the Fed and the State.'

And the busing program by Abbott is working wonders for pushing the Dems into being anti-immigration. Which is a long-term positive.

We need to raise funds to send more to Martha's Vineyard. And start dropping them off in Glen Cove.

I don't believe you are correct about the Supreme Court ruling. All the SCOTUS did was lift an injunction preventing the Feds from cutting the razor wire. They did not weigh in on the real question, namely Texas's right to self defense as outlined in Article I, sec. 10, Clause 3 of the Constitution. Governor Abbott citied as much in his letter to the White House, stating "That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. "

My point is simply that the recent ruling by the Supreme Court does NOT put them on the side of the Biden Administration.

Guess it depends who is in charge in the Federal Government and how smart they are. If they are smart, they’ll back down because there is no good outcome for them in an election year from challenging Texas given the entire country’s increasing hostility to unlimited illegal immigration. But if they are not smart … well I guess we’re in for an interesting week.

The Republic of Texas and the other 25 States supporting it should ignore the Federal Government and it supposed fake authority, for the Feds are already violating not only the US Constitution (that is, President Biden violating his Oath of Office at the 8th paragraph of Section of Article II [the Executive Branch] to enforce the Laws of the United States (Article I, Section 8 - notably to "establish an Uniform Rule of Naturalization," and "to provide for the calling of the Militia to ... repel Invasions" - not to pass Laws regulating Immigration, that is, Title 8 of the United States Code, which the Biden Administration has totally and utterly defied - an impeachable offense.

Texas better do as they are told...remember Biden has mentioned several times he has F16s.

If Biden attempts to nationalize, I hope the Texas guard commander tells him to f*** off. Then I'd like to see the other governors pledge to send their troops in the event Biden sends in troops. If what follows is a troop stand-off, I'd have a guy with a megaphone inviting Biden's army to break ranks and come on over.

Abbott definitely (historically) folds like lawn chair, indeed. I'm still shocked he found a pair, or has he? Is this the opening that globalist puppet #fjb needs to begin the anarchy needed to ultimately finish off the US?
