Nice. Couldn't happen to a nicer organization. Looking forward to Epoch Times soon moving up to third largest newspaper in USA.

From today’s Los Angeles Times:

Los Angeles Times Executive Editor Kevin Merida announced Tuesday that he was stepping down 2½ years after joining The Times as its newsroom leader with a mission to strengthen the organization during a period of turbulence in the news industry.

Merida’s exit, effective Friday, presents another challenge to a newsroom already under strain as well as to the paper’s owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, who now must find a new top editor.

The Times has fallen well short of its digital subscriber goals and needs a revenue boost to sustain the operation.

May they all rot in hell.

THIS makes my day much better

I stopped subscribing to anything they covered when I served throughout the Vietnam war and my father, a retired 30 year

USN/MSC was serving as an adviser in I Corps

Since then NOTHING has changed

In '20 when they rolled out the virus followed by the jab

the Post frothing gleefully covered it all disparaging, as did the rest of 'media'

those who rejected based on REPUTABLE physicians, virologists, and epidemiologists

Now the chickens have come home to roost but the Post, and other bilge like it, continue

the lies.

A pox on them and the ugly nag it has ridden for decades

Amazon Stock has a PE ratio of 79 and does not pay a dividend. $100 million a year to control the narrative so people don't find out your stock is severely overpriced which allows you to maintain your $200 billion fortune is worth it. You also get to control personal and political narratives. This is a huge win for Bezos as it might be worth losing a couple billion a year before he even thinks about changing.

Why save WAPO???? Let it crash.

I guess democracy dies in darkness...or something like that. It's not even good for birdcage liner or to wipe your butt. Pure propaganda with a splash of truth to make it seem legit.

I thought the WP was the pits until I came across The Atlantic.

Considering the Post is a left leaning propaganda rag just like 90% of all the papers out there, this is just the beginning of the end of printed newspapers!

“Democracy ends in darkness” is not a warning. It’s a threat that WAPO has almost fulfilled. Plenty of lies and darkness there. Unfortunately, it appears to be working since WAPO is helping Biden to end democracy.

Do you think even with Trump winning in 2024 that the WP can recover? I have my doubts. They were so bad that even some unhinged lefties are doing WTF on the WP's stories.
