They don’t hate China, any more than that traveling dance show hates China. They’re Chinese.

OK Steve so why don't we do this. Post any link to ET which reports anything positive about China. I'm sure that in any publication which is fair and balanced, that shouldn't be too difficult to find?

You have access to the same media I do. Why are you asking me to find something?

I'm asking you to support your undocumented claim that "ET does not hate China". Just one link to a positive reference to anything about China in ET is all I asked for which, as I said, in any 'fair and balanced" publication, shouldn't be too hard to find?

China? Or Xi and the CCP? They don’t hate China.

Well then, SURELY, they can find some positive aspects of China to review? Most of my American friends hate their Government but, rightly, remain entirely positive about their country.

And the fact is, China, like it or not, is a major and growing force in the world and needs to be understood and engaged if this century is to be a success. Just disparaging China, instead of promoting a balanced understanding, doesn't help in any way.

I'm not proposing sugar-coating the problems with the CCP in any way, all I'm saying is that there is a need for impartial, balanced coverage, which ET doesn't provide. Fortunately, there are many other sources of more balanced information about China.

Then read the Washington Post. They would certainly appreciate your business. Or the NYT. Or the South China Morning Post.
