Yes .. Except there are a Lot of good people pushing for "climate action" .. And humans / industry has been using earth's life support systems as garbage dumps for long enough to make serious impacts on the climate (and not just climate / carbon #s) (also pollution on all levels, loss of biodiversity, etc ... They're going to keep us fighting between those who (can be said to) "deny" the harms of human /industrial / greed impact on the biosphere, and those who want to "solve it" ....
If both those groups can unite and look more critically at those who claim to have the "solutions", and be more adept at spotting psychological manipulation and fearmongering and solutions that cost more than they save ... while still understanding there are problems .. maybe we do need to re-think our relationship to this planet .. but not led by the same forces of greed / manipulation / hubris / hypocrisy that created the problems they want us to trust them to solve ...

It is a very nuanced subject. The problem is that the same larger entities that have created most abuses of people and nature are the ones driving the corporate "climate change" trend. The solutions they are offering are rather awful (putting sensors into everything surely is going to contribute to murdering life, not the other way around; smart dust is tremendously not good; solar panels use Teflon-like chemicals, that was originally used for tank coating, by the way, and that leak into the ground and poison ground water.
