Even assuming that Trump really wanted to "drain the swamp" in the first place, once In office, Trump proved weak, stupid and easily manipulated.

That said, Biden and most of the remaining Team R candidates are, to put it frankly, insane.

Agreed - dark times. People are hanging their hopes on Trump ripping his shirt off and seeking revenge like a Marvel superhero. For any prediction of the future, look to the past. He'll be good at energy policy and keeping us out of foreign wars but little else.

If Trump actually can keep us out of foreign wars, he'll do better than Biden and just about any other Team R candidate.

Exactly! The Dotard surrounded himself with proverbial "swamp things" such as Esper, Pompeio, Bolton, & Haley who helped frustrate any sensible policy change (e.g. US-DPRK rapprochement, Syria withdrawal) whilst goading his baser instincts (e.g. the assassination of Gen. Soleimani, moving the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem). Never mind his own coup de grace: His decree of March 13, 2020 declaring a "National Emergency" over the pseudopandemic and invoking the PREP Act to fast-track the MAGA jabs.

Wtf?? He escalated Afghanistan before wisely surrendering to the Taliban AND he escalated Yemen and got 3 Americans killed along with $100 million in aircraft assets. And 2020 was the year with the highest number of energy industry bankruptcies!! $2/gallon gasoline was because of 15 days to slow the spread—it bankrupted many companies.

True as this may be, the outcome of the next presidential election has implications far beyond the usual political, economic, and cultural concerns, and even the question of whether or not Trump would or even could "drain the swamp" are secondary to the fact that *if* he fails, it will be incontrovertible proof to the opposition that their tactics worked.

The way I see it, if they're vindicated in their efforts to defeat him this time around, that's the final nail in the coffin of the American experiment.

It's one thing to let government take your rights away through policies, legislation, and mandates. It's another thing entirely to let it take them away through action; by demonstrating that they have the ability to subjugate the will of the people, and the freedom to do so with impugnity.

He hired the worst, because he’s temperamentally incapable of tolerating in his *organization* anyone with the talents to be a real threat to his ego and his image.

I would say that Kayleigh McEnany was an excellent press secretary. At least 300x better than any of the Biden administration press secretaries. She always had a binder full of all the facts and figures, and answered hostile questions. Perhaps the biggest mistake that Trump made, personnel wise, was making Fauci the commander of his covid task force.

Trump had 4 good people around him: Navarro, Kash Patel, Kayleigh McEnany ( perhaps the greatest Press Secretary in History: what a brilliant, ferocious and gracious lady)and Steve Bannon. Like I said, the fatal choice.

In a tip of the hat to Jimmy Carter--Trump and Pence had contempt in their hearts for each other. They were never a team and never trusted one another. And Pence, as an evangelical moron, was never going to strengthen Trump's original appeal to independents and some moderate Democrats.

And the choice laid naked Trump's pandering to the worst of his base. It showed people like me he never had any courage and wasn't going to forge a brave new path. And for that karma is biting him real hard.

Trump did more damage to the U.S. - in the singular 18 months leading up to his leaving office - than any other two term President - of the last 35 years:

1.7 Million Dead and 47 million ( and STILL COUNTING) from the jab.

3 Million closed businesses due to lockdowns - since he handed over the Constitution, and our government - to FAUCI AND THE CDC

$4 Trillion Upward Wealth Transfer

Takeover by the Deep State CENSORSHIP COMPLEX.

A stolen Potus, Ga Senate, and various House elections in different states.

All of which set the stage for the DELIBERATE DESTRUCTION Biden has wrought with his completely Zionist agency cabal.

The Dems/Deep State so OWN Trump, that they WANT him to be the nominee. They are petrified of two people only: Ron DeSantis, and RFK Jr ( which we should all FIGHT LIKE HELL - to make them their respective nominees) If Trump wins the primary, we'll have another 150 days of Antifa/BLM riots - this time with ...3-4 million illegals - likely armed- joining the fray ( the Great Replacement Theory is the realest plan the Dems ever put in action) - and, if, thru all this - Trump fights off the STEAL?

We are in a full on bloody civil war that doesn't end for 5 years ---but when it does, we have the WEF, WHO, and UN - with boots on our necks- after 30 million have died and 50 million put in FEMA camps.

This isn't a drill, and sadly, it's not hyperbole.

This is written by a two time Trump voter who WANTS to be wrong...but I've been right on most since 2016 ( former Bernie staffer, btw, who watched Clinton get away with stealing 17 state primaries. Bernie KNEW - we had the evidence, and he wouldn't fight it. Hence my becoming red-pilled).

PS - Not only is Trump hated by the establishment, he'd be a LAME DUCK - and would probably spend a full year in court, if not more.

HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY SERVE US WITH ALL THAT'S ALIGNED AGAINST HIM - and, lastly, he doesn't ADMIT TO ANY OF HIS MISTAKES - so he would make them all, again.

He's a molotov cocktail with the fuse lit. The entire U.S. will be embedded with shrapnel when he explodes.

100% truth ... former ardent supporter, but the establishment never had a less capable adversary than they had in Trump. Sure, he had plenty of resistance, but Trump proved himself utterly incapable of taking on these forces and made himself an easy (and unsympathetic) target.

He's now unelectable, in the same way that Rs and indys and moderates ran through fire to vote against Hillary in '16, Ds and indys and moderates will run through fire to vote against Trump in '24, just as they did in '20.

But all this aside, his covid response was disqualifying, when we needed someone tough to stand up, he sat down and tossed Fauci the keys. He added $7.8T in debt and the dope even funded the very mail-in-ballots he then spent 3 years crying about. I could go on, but I'm done with him ... he's a shadow of his 2016 self, filled with rage, 'ME' grievance, and unfocussed vengeance. We need to turn the page on him, and whatever MAGA has morphed into. Sorry.

I have learned so much since 2016!!!!

I have learned how the media and governments lie to us!!! I have learned corporations rule the world along with the rich and China. I learned the medical professionals are a disgrace and to never trust them again. I have learned the alphabet agencies are corrupt and will stop at nothing to manipulate the masses. We also have no fair justice/election systems.

Trump helped get a vax going initially for the “at risks” groups based on fraudulent data from blue states/cities. No major funding came from his years.

Biden is the one that opened the vax up for all ages and mandated it!!! He continues to pump and print money out like crazy for hoaxes after hoaxes. Biden has been pre-paid to be a traitor. We cannot have another globalist president for another term. And that includes rinos who want more oil wars and China trade.

Free trade ruined my life and family. The only person that ever spoke out about it and China was Trump!!!! He gave us a good economy and no wars. He’s the only anti free trade, anti China, anti globalist candidate. The other candidates want to continue with their pro China agendas and ruin us.

China is in Cuba/Canada/ UK …. Everywhere! And no one is doing a darn thing to stop the great re-set coming.

Trump brought me to the dance and I’m sticking with him!!! There is nothing wrong with MAGA policies.

Early in 2016, Martin Armstrong described Trump's new administration as only a speed bump. That turned out to be true. Trump was so naive and green. I am sure another chance in office would make a difference; now he knows what to expect, but he's not getting inside again. They will kill him first.

Mr. Trump is a tough business guy, but that is nothing compared to the world of modern politics. The players have no soul. At least in business, you must keep the customer happy, or they leave. But in politics, they could care less about whether one lives or dies. Death is preferable to the politician because there are fewer upset voters to hear whine.

In 2020, a coup took place, but few realize this fact. The Neocons are in complete control. This is another Armstrong explanation of the current system. The Neocons have no interest in the economy, your money or health, or anything about us as individuals. The residents of Maui found that out with the $700 one-time check and a gun to their heads to sell their multi-million-dollar valued property. Get off the land, you parasites.

Prepare for the inevitable WW3; the Neocons are finally getting their wish of a Russian confrontation, with China being next. They are so evil they believe such a war can be won. They will instead destroy the Western World, your children, and grandchildren. This is the main reason that they hate Trump. Just like JFK, Mr. Trump will not go to war. That got Mr. Kennedy killed, and another successful coup was completed using President Johnson to engage America in a Southeast Asian civil war on the lie it was a Communist invasion. It was another deception for you and me to support a war—one of the many lies on the long list of war's past that has no end; so it goes.

I for one wouldn't bet on the American people ever having another valid presidential election. There is no reason for those who've installed themselves in power not to commit systemic election fraud again and again. There were no consequences for blatant fraud last time. Americans now have nothing but subjugation and subservience in their future.

You got that right - but I've always said the Democrats merely mimic the Republicans. Think back to 2000 and Bush stealing the election from Gore! Where'd the Democrats learn this? Then look at the war in Iraq started by Bush and Co and now look at Ukraine - same thing all over again! Monkey see monkey do!

I wasn't a party member for decades and couldn't care less about partisan politics (happily not my problem anymore) so yes, both parties have bad records but this fraud is a nation killer. The Bush Gore race was legitimately close and could have gone either way. This time Trump was trouncing Biden so badly perpetrators had to stop counting votes in states which were clearly about to determine the election decisively then they blatantly stuffed the ballot box and NOTHING was done to stop the crime and bring perpetrators to justice. In fact institutions which should have protected the American people (law enforcement, legislators, courts, media) all too often aided and abetted the crime. Democracy, hence your liberty, is done in the US. As yet faceless self serving authoritarians have seized power (Joe is obviously just a pitiful facade). You are now being dragged into a horrendous tyranny. Actually an appalling number of Americans are wandering into their enslavement like brainless livestock, but they are bound to experience a sickening wakeup at some point.

I could not possibly agree with you more!!!

Two things, listen to Robert Barnes explain all the things that transpired in Georgia - however this was not news to me per se if you've ever read John Funds books on voter fraud and how rampant and extensive it is! BTW it's not the presidential election that matters but rather the smaller lesser turn out elections for congress and senate that are the most important!

The mere fact that million of illegals are absolutely voting (unless an election is contested - less than 1% margin - or the person is turned in, there are NO consequences) in addition to the voting machines themselves and the list goes on and on and on - all the ways it's is completely CORRUPT which is the word Trump et al should be using rather than rigged - stolen and the absolute worst, cheated which are so incredibly juvenile!

Robert Barnes interview: (skip the Brit's parts he has nothing to add per se) listen to him explain all the ways in which it was corruption, on steroids!!!! It was so blatant!

Indeed systemic election fraud, political weaponization of "justice" systems, censorship/book burning, political violence, demonization/cancellation of those who don't comply, debanking, etc. One need not be a history expert to see yet another pack of pathological, self serving authoritarians is seizing power over a once substantially free society. This horrific process has played out many times through history. The best option, for those who can, is to leave before the control freaks slam all exits shut. Manipulative sociopaths don't handle rejection well and once they have enough power they will take delight in immobilizing/imprisoning those who aren't compliant with their desires (or worse).

Americans who are thinking of leaving need to understand something which I didn't know initially. To be free of DC you must renounce your US citizenship. Unlike virtually every other country in the world you can't simply expatriate...sadly. Provided your taxes are up to date the process of renouncing is quick, just two appointments at a US embassy or consulate and payment of $2,350 cash. However you must also have a second citizenship. Most Americans have no reasonable prospect of clearing that hurdle, so they are now trapped and in trouble.

What Trump said about the "vaccine"

"I recommend taking the vaccines. I did it, it’s good. Take the vaccines.” Donald J Trump, August 21st, 2021

"I hope everyone remembers when they're getting the COVID-19 Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful 'shot' for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn't be getting it at all. I hope everyone remembers!" — Donald J Trump, February 28th 2021

"I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly." — Donald J Trump, March 16th 2021

"We have our freedoms and we have to live by that, and I agree with that also. But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine, and it is something that works." — Donald J Trump, March 17th 2021

"Get those shots everyone!" — Donald J Trump, December 17th 2020

“I guess in a certain way, I’m the father of the vaccine because I was the one that pushed it. To get it done in less than nine months was a miracle.” - Donald J Trump, April 29th 2021

"Everybody, go get your shot." — Donald J Trump, February 28th 2021

"It works incredibly well. 95%, maybe even more than that...and it is really saving our country and it is saving frankly the world." — Donald J Trump, March 9th 2021

"It will save millions of lives, and soon end the pandemic once and for all. These vaccines are also very safe." — Donald J Trump, December 11th 2020

"The Vaccine and the Vaccine rollout are getting the best of reviews. Moving along really well. Get those shots everyone!" — Donald J Trump, December 17th 2020

=====================================================

"Well, I got the Pfizer, and I would have been very happy with any of them. I thought a very bad statement was when they did a pause on Johnson & Johnson. I think that frightened people. That was a bad thing to do. At that time, when they did the pause, they had six people that may have had some difficulty out of millions that received it. But I think the pause was a very bad thing to do." — Donald J Trump, October 2nd 2021

=================================

"During my administration, everybody wanted the vaccine. There was nobody saying oh, gee, I don't want to take it. Now they say that. And that's because they don't trust the Biden administration. I can think of no other reason. But they say we don't want it, we aren't going to take it. When I was there, everybody wanted it and we were doing great. Well, the military did a fantastic job." — Donald J Trump, October 7th 2021

"I'm very proud of the vaccine, I've taken it, you've probably taken it. But I'm very proud of it. I think we could have another situation with the Spanish Flu, 1917, where up to 100 million people were killed." — Donald J Trump, August 18th 202

Although I vehemently agree with you about Trump, I completely disagree with you regarding Hillary Clinton!

First things first - for anyone who believes Trump was a billionaire or whatever before becoming POTUS you're out of your mind! He simply robbed from Peter to pay Paul to create the image that he was RICH! Hence going to the ends of the earth to hide his tax records, for years! Fast forward to 2020 after leaving the WH and having earned OVER one billion dollars! More than any of his predecessors! Obama left with roughly 650 million and the Clinton's certainly had more than when they too arrived! If anyone thinks Trump would now bite the hand that not only feeds him but also made him into what he always purported to be - you're also out of your mind The pharmaceutical industry gave him a million dollars just for his inauguration and therefore he will never ever denounce nor apologize for the lethal injections!!!! Lastly, the more times he's arrested the higher his donations - so he doesn't have to worry about legal fee's.

Re: Hillary

Imagine the debt that woman incurred touring the world as SOS when in actuality she was accepting donations to the Clinton Foundation telling everyone she would be the next POTUS! Imagine all the favors that were bought and paid for? That's why she's so angry! Not only is she massively indebted financially to all those who bribed her - but after losing to Trump of all people she became a nobody and a laughing stock!

She knew Biden was in decline and Kamila would never be chosen for anything! The time was now hers that is until RFK stuck his hat into the ring! She clearly had words with him ( he recently said he saw and spoke to her at some function) for him to then say (as in retaliate) something to the effect of there are no deplorables in this Country during his announcement speech! The ONE very word synonymous with Hillary Clinton!

A List? Your kidding right? There was not one persons name on that list of any great importance! Matt Damon? Ashley Judd? Seriously? McCains wife? Who knew she was even still alive? No doubt however she is clearly not up to something! Maybe they'll actually run Michelle Obama and this is about her running as her VP? Although politics (elections) are all about hunting season - and the RELEASE of Obama's love letters stating he had dreams of making love to men - was clearly a warning shot! They kept them hidden since 2008 and yet isn't it amazing they surfaced and were published now?
