How can someone like Jerome Adams take himself seriously when he told us to remove our masks at the beginning of COVID because they do not work? And now he is so righteous he has to post a picture of himself, wearing something he knows that offers no protection, to prove he is worthy of redemption. These people are mentally ill and need to be called out. Thank you Jordan! Keep up the good fight.

He doesn’t take it seriously. He is just a Pharma shill earning his shilling through bad acting.

He's a dope, incapable of simple logic. Making someone wear a mask is 'imposing your beliefs'. Telling someone 'you're free not to wear one' is literally the exact opposite of that. And he doesn't even know the difference. Shattering the illusion of how smart you actually have to be to get through med school. Turns out you don't have to be smart at all. You just have to be really driven to make a lot of money pushing drugs on people while you pretend to be morally and intellectually superior. Until you open your mouth and say something this dumb and destroy the illusion. And to the authors point, the illusion is pretty much destroyed at this point. We should all be happy and resolved to never forget...

"Turns out you don't have to be smart at all. You just have to be really driven to make a lot of money"

Of course you have to be intelligent to become a doctor, let's not exaggerate. Tons of people want to get into medical studies so only those with top grades will get the seats. (Aside from the Blacks who get Affirmative Discrimination of course, seats taken from better qualified Whites, with favorable loans unavailable to Whites.)

But that you are highly intelligent and study very hard doesn't mean you have to be moral, or maybe you were moral but stop being so. And it doesn't mean you are impervious to the media's party line. Doctors are like in other professions, there are different kinds.

Expand full comment

Agree to disagree. Study any one topic intensively for 8 years and you'll be an expert at it just the same. That's not intelligence. The intelligent person is the one who DOESN'T study medicine for 8 years (maybe he studies welding or HVAC) but can still grasp that when you start giving a vaccine to people and 1500 die in the first 3 weeks, YOU SHOULD STOP. How many 'highly intelligent' doctors have been able to make this simple association and follow this simple logic? Because I know tons of welders and HVAC techs that are crystal clear about this. And I don't want to hear about 'external pressures' or 'risking their license'. If you know you are potentially killing people and still doing it you are a fucking idiot at a minimum. Furthermore they're doing it based on blind faith in Germ theory, Sars cov2, and the efficacy of the vaccine, none of which have ever been proven. So what do they really know, or what good is their education and training really? I don't feel the need to torture the whole 'just following orders' narrative any further, but I will assert it does not describe people with the ability to think for themselves. So you're free to assert that they're smarter than you if that's how you feel. But I don't.

Whole heartedly agree with this assessment!

I watched a video yesterday of how Daniel Boone came to understand the error of his ways as a congressman in voting yes to help out some unfortunate victims of his time (insert crisis, tragedy, these people need help and government funds is the answer here). It was by talking to a man plowing his fields when he went out campaigning for re-election. Imagine that! A farmer who understood the constitution better than a politician.

Boone was humble and a genuinely good man, who could admit the errors of his ways and change himself for the better. It would seem most of these educated elites lack a core self awareness to be able to do likewise.

100% true. Most doctors lack common sense but are extremely book smart. When they are put in positions to make the best calculated choice they are easily persuaded because they lack the ability to critically think. For lack of a better term the whole profession has become a herd animal.

Very much agree with this article, but we also need to be careful about not setting up alternative "public health experts" that are deemed so infallible that anyone who criticizes them is deemed a traitor to the cause. I'm speaking to those of you who are pissed off at people like me who have been critical of the snake venom theory. I see a very unhealthy trend of putting people like Dr. Ardis up on a pedestal as a mirror image of the Fauci worship I see in the mainstream.

Well said. The enemy isn’t “their” dogma. The enemy is dogma itself.

Interesting that you see people elevating Dr. Ardis when I see very much the opposite. He has been vilified, cancelled from public appearances, denigrated by the likes of Dr. Pierre Kory as having a "manic episode" -- an utterly despicable thing to say. I see no "worship" whatsoever for Bryan Ardis; again, I see just the opposite.

Great article, but you missed the central point. The goal was to use public health to drive the globalist agenda, and it still is. The WHO is being promoted as the organization to control global response to pandemics. I bristle at the use of the word “control”. What this means is a group of fascist oligarchs will create a fascist system as they destroy the world economy, impoverish billions, force us to eat fake meat, take dangerous inoculations, give up all our rights, freedoms and privileges as human beings, own nothing, and their lust will still not be satisfied. Public health was just a tool for them, and they are responsible for destroying it. That public health as it was is such a sewer was indeed an eye-opening situation.

Ah yes, keep being afraid and only dare post when you use the Left's talking points, confirming that their priorities are the only right ones. Like claiming "Democrats are da real raycists!" Or like you do here, claim that leftists are "fascists" - the leftists who promote mass immigration of non-Whites to control Whites, who promote feminism and homosexuality, who promote "modern" art and architecture, who tell Whites to hate themselves and take White tax money for Whites, and take seats and jobs from Whites through Affirmative Discrimination. Except they are the exact opposite, the ones the fascists opposed. With all the opinions and the worldview that fascists opposed. Fascists stood up for the normal, decent people, and wanted the criminal rioters and looters locked up. While the U.S. gave the Soviet Union, which had massed an invasion army on the border with Germany to take all of Western Europe, oil, vehicles, guns and ammunition via Iran which Britain and USSR invaded in 1941, up to Stalingrad and further north, so the communists could take half of Europe.

Meant fascism as a business and political structure, not as a populist ideology.

Expand full comment

Proving that you believe the leftist propaganda. "populist ideology"? As if Right and Left aren't always populist. "political structure"? Sure that's what you meant. And what would that "structure" be? Let me guess: "business and government allying to oppress the people", or "dictatorship". I hear Breitbart types argue that the communist Soviet Union was "fascist". Government and businesses cooperating isn't fascism by the way, even though they had that. So have every leftist and conservative government in history. Was Otto von Bismarck a "fascist"? Let's keep the American "right-wing means as little government as possible!" claim away from reality. Was Labour's James Callaghan a fascist? Was Margaret Thatcher? Fascism means to fight communism first of all, and stand up for normal values, which are conservative. It means a Right that actually fights. It doesn't mean any "political structure" or "model" as that is secondary, and it doesn't even have to be a political party, as Mussolini wrote in The Doctrine of Fascism. It criticized every pillar of the socialist worldview. Fascist members and voters always came mainly from the Right, no matter the country - for Codreanu's Iron Guard in Romania for example, fighting the communists in the streets, though they didn't call themselves fascists as it wasn't the general name yet. But today, U.S. GOP: "Democrats are da real racists cuz they give blacks every thing they want and did ya know they are da party of JIM CROW! Democrats are FASCISTS! Racism is da worst thing!" What do you stand for? Cowardice. That's why the GOP has been filled with candidates promoting mass immigration, like pro-amnesty Bushes and Mitt Romney and John McCain and Ben Sasse and Susan Collins and Cocaine McConnell. Where's your LIBERTY! when the country is majority non-White? That's what you get when you're so afraid you join the Left in denouncing "fascism" and "racism". Maybe they'll let you keep living as a slave in the new order you support.

But you lack knowledge of real political history and repeat the leftist propaganda words used by cuckservative media. Admit it instead of pretending you're not - you have no arguments as you know that's what you're doing. "apparent vendetta" Again, clever! Except I'm giving you information considered forbidden in the media you're used to, and that's what you don't like. "be unable to contain yourself" Like you? Nothing you say is built on any facts but you refuse to admit that. Maybe you should stop reading cuck sites and using the false arguments they teach you, which a lot of the time is meant to keep you from learning anything deeper. Read Revolver News, American Renaissance, Information Liberation and Unz Review instead. @harmlessyarddog on Twitter, and those he retweets. And if that's too radical, there are even leftist writers that are better than cuck sites: @mtracey and @mrandyngo and @ggreenwald on Twitter. I prefer those who at least give useful information instead of the neocon-loving sphere funded by types like the Mercers. A public health officer has two main jobs: making sure the public water is clean, and making sure the waste water gets treated properly. It's like food inspector. If they actually did their job, folks would be healthier. Even Dr. Jay B. recognizes that.

But locking folks down, gagging them and jabbing them is a hell of a lot more fun, right?

I worry about throwing out the baby with the bathwater. The fact the some, perhaps many, senior public health officials screwed up does not mean there is no need for the role. We need a group of medical professionals who thinking systematically about infectious disease and conditions that influence disease risk. There may have been too much "mission drift" and "nanny state thinking" but I think the fundamental need is still there. I don't know how to minimize the level of partisan and single issue politics as well as bureaucratic thinking, which I think is what you are objecting to for the most part. But I see value is a systems approach, informed by medical knowledge, to managing disease at a community or population level.

Have you examined the trends in the health of Americans over the last few decades? The last thing that we need is any sort of public health apparatus.

Here are is some data I have looked at

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/hus/2019/004-508.pdf

https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/chart-collection/u-s-life-expectancy-compare-countries/

What data are you looking at and what conclusions do you draw?

I conclude that the last decade has seen setbacks that some ascribe to overdose deaths since 2014 and Covid in 2020-21. But the last few decades have seen progress. I attribute some of that to "Public Health" but doubtless better nutrition, better sanitation, and better working conditions all have contributed. Corrupt, partisan, and incompetent public health officials don't negate the need for a systematic approach to applying medical knowledge to population health. Anymore than relying on "the crooked timber of humanity" for judges, police, politicians, teachers, lawyers, doctors, accountants, airplane designers, etc.. means that we can do away with those professions.

I am not sure why NIH / CDC is funding gain-of-function or torturing dogs or any of a dozen other ill-conceived, ethically compromised, and potentially criminal projects. But their mistakes and poor performance does not mean we don't need a public health function. The US has benefited historically from using the states as laboratories for experimenting with new laws, regulations, etc.. A more decentralized or federated approach might serve better for the next 20 years than a strongly centralized approach as for the last 20. But I don't believe we should abolish public health, we should reform it.

Well said. The key problem came when they misunderstood public health with public health control. They decided to give themselves additional jurisdiction. Under the public health rules, they can only manage organizations. These people think they own everybody.

Expand full comment

I sincerely see no need for public health under its current guise. Health professionals can easily think about and relay their findings via standard peer review to their colleagues who can inform patients as individuals, as health actually resides in individuals rather than the “public”. The Alphabet clubs like AMA (which are just a union really) will of course release statements and such, but truly anything determined “public health” should only be related to air quality, water purity, and perhaps industrial food quality.

Until Americans take responsibility for improving their own health, they will always fall for the Potemkin solutions of "health experts".

Most Americans, and almost all of our elders, never knew a complaint for which the answer wasn't drugs and/or surgery. They are totally uninterested in the root causes of their symptoms, instead treating their bodies like automobiles to be topped off with fluid changes and spare parts. There are plenty of diabetics who take dangerous drugs and suffer amputations rather than restrict their diets even slightly. There are plenty of neurotics who derange themselves with "antidepressants" rather than taking outdoor exercise or changing a single unhealthy habit.

Should we expect these people to know or care about the difference between a vaccine and gene therapy? To explain how a mask can stop a virus but not a fart?

The "public-health men" are an enabler class of parasites that will only die off when their terminally ignorant host population dies off.

But I guess you could make the case that's exactly what's happening.
