De Santis is supporting Martha's Vineyard's motto:

Diversity is our strength

OK, you are now proving yourself a troll. DeSantis is a traitor? You must know by now that he cannot legally deport people to other countries. Yet you continue your silly argument. Show us the legal precedent, and we might listen to you. Otherwise, you are just troll trashing one of the most effective leaders of the right.

You've got all this time to respond with big-winded Tolstoy-esque pages of blurb. You must have a lot of time on your hands. Do you work, or are you on the collection arm?

Obama should be practicing diversity, equity, and inclusion and open the doors of his house, which is certainly big enough to provide shelter for many of these people.

Karen doesn’t want bad hombres in her lily White Island paradise.

Mark's avatar

They have their token minorities.... but they had damn well better be lefties.....

F***ing hypocrites.

Yuri Bezmenov's avatar

The Obamas are the ultimate tokens, climate change is so dangerous that they have an oceanfront mansion on Martha's Vineyard.

Mark's avatar

And didn’t the Queen of Corruption (Pelosi) just buy an oceanfront mansion in Florida?

Just a bunch of corrupt, arrogant, assh*les.....

Athena's avatar

Mixed race commie for one, black tranny for the other (by BO's own admission, having called his "wife" "Michael" on several public occasions) , thus in a gay marriage. Yep, these two cover a lot of token ground together in and by themselves! (Don't bother calling me a racist; I am married to a man of color myself. And I have legally immigrated to a couple of countries, incl. the US as well as a developing country; I have enough experience to write a book about that topic.)

Not to mention their courage to tackle the "climate crisis" and "rising sea levels" by investing in some of the most expensive ocean front property in the US. Quel courage!

Do you think we should hold our breath and wait for them to open their gates to some of the illegal immigrants roaming the streets of Martha's V.?

Sounds about right....NIMBY...Not In My Backyard......

ruralbob's avatar

"Hate Has No Home Here" signs were just empty virtue signaling? Well, I sure am surprised about that!

Paul McGroary's avatar

So tough to be woke especially if its embarrassing like when its in your own backyard.

Jerk-Offs one and all...panic over 50....this my friends is who they are...all phonies!

W’sMN?'s avatar

I believe that the people of Delaware would be willing to receive a good number of illegal immigrants inside their state borders too!

Marilyn Shepherd's avatar

Do Americans ever think about how ugly you look to the rest of the world as you bomb, invade and slaughter people in many nations all the time, install brutal dictators where ever you feel like it then whinge if escapees dare to get to the USA.

Lena's avatar

I live in Austria where the treatment of illegal immigrants is nowhere close to as accommodating as the US. They call them illegal also. So are Austrians red necks as well?? 😂

Marilyn Shepherd's avatar

Yes, we are all born equal and it's because of a certain Austrian that the right for every one to seek asylum is international law covered by many international human rights treaties.

Lena's avatar

Right to seek, not right to receive. And it must be done pursuant to rules society agrees upon. Since we are born equal, there is no reason the folks in Martha’s Vineyard should complain - they voted to be a sanctuary city. I had a family of refugees in my house for 3 months this spring. Why not Obama now?

Marilyn Shepherd's avatar

Absolutely correct, I have worked with refugees in Australia now for 21 years.

jan van ruth's avatar

no austrians are just austrians.

and that is a lot worse than rednecks...

remember that adolf was austrian?

lots and lots of that kind in austria nowadays...

Linden's avatar

Better learn some history, honey. We didn't bomb Central and S. America.

Paul McGroary's avatar

Who bombed central and South America? The USA didn’t.

But they really did in Laos, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq. All quite recently and where the US was the aggressor not the defender as with Japan and Germany who started the war in Japans case or Germany which declared war on the US.

Blaine Smith's avatar

Load up a couple C-17’s and stop playing footsie.

Marilyn Shepherd's avatar

The real hypocrisy is whining Americans carrying on about borders while they have invaded, occupied, bombed, changed regimes, stage coups and all manner of atrocities against human beings and human rights. The USA has trained all the terrorist groups in the world, started all the vicious drug cartels, (Snowfall is very honest), and yet think they can treat escapees like they are sub humans and also expect to be treated like they are super special in every country they invade.

Will you for god's sake stop the red neck language of ''illegal immigrants'', it's beyond disgusting.

Lena's avatar

No, I won’t.

W’sMN?'s avatar

Easy prey to cultural marxism some people are. They can be identified because they are always repeating prefabricated brainweak arguments.

Gracchus's avatar

Nice ethnic slur there...

Paul McGroary's avatar

Americans seem a little odd to foreigner. Often they see States as soveign and sometimes sovereign is deemed to be the province of the Federal government.

To any foreigner external border control seems like a clear national or in US terns federal matter. So why doesn’t the US have a hard border? Feels pretty hard at JFK to us Europeans so why not the Mexican border?

Sorry I am just one of those confused European liberals who thinks nations have a right to control who does and doesn’t enter the country.

Apologies if that sounds to radical but I believe Its what every other country in the world expects.

Dell's avatar

The spokes lady doesn't appear to understand, that the shortage of suitable housing is why illegal immigrants are joining homeless locals, who are sleeping on streets in cities across the U.S.

I'm afraid she will just have to suck it up and share the island's facilities, or, support efforts to secure U.S. borders, and solve or at least control the situation.
