Alright to satisfy your curiosity (though 99% sure yours is only a rhetorical question) I'll do this from my memory of what I read from this SS rather than re-reading to disambiguate what you indicate is clear:
I thought that the owners of Substack had refused to censor or deplatform the alleged Nazis as was the demand of the NYT journalist and his posse of umbrage-taking couch-fainters... as I recall, the article just wrote about SS telling them to kick sand and releasing their own open letter explaining that it turned out that the "infestation of Nazis" accusation was only made on the evidence of 5 Substacks with a combined total of 132 readers, none of whom were paid subscribers. The article then discusses things like how disingenuous the NYT reporter is, that he up and quit SS with his posse, the dangers of "hate speech" and censorship, etc.
Reading the comments, I find your thread talking about SS caving-in.
Maybe I overlooked an update or some replies that explained it. I'd assume that SS eventually decided to ban the supposed Nazis... if so what made them crack/who got to them?
