On the one hand, generations of kids trained to hate America and the American way of life, and actually bought into it, are now attaining positions of great power and influence. (As I saw it said, Rittenhouse is lucky his judge is a boomer because when millenials take the bench we will be living in a very different county.

On the other hand these people are in DC because they are grifters who can't make an honest living and neither know nor care what impact their policies have on anyone outside their privileged circle.

And then there is narcissism. I always go back to Peter Thiel's observation that narcissists are inherently reactive, short term thinkers. So despite their best intentions to wreck the USA they are too self-absorbed to actually do it methodically and it may mostly backfire. That's a sort of "third option" but might be the best of the lot.

Thanks, Eric. My greatest hope in all this is that humanity will regain its combined individual spiritually strength and COURAGE TO SAY NO and the enemy will thus defeat itself. As Michael Tsarion says, "Evil contains within it the seeds of its own destruction." So, if enough of us leverage "their" power in motion, like martial artists we can send it flying overhead and crashing into the jagged rocks below!

You put your hope in humanity? Wow …

CC: Thanks for expressing your concern and allowing me to clarify my position. I don't "put my hope in all of humanity," but I "have hope for SOME of us" because I have witnessed acts of courage right here in my little neighborhood and the broader community. But in the end, I know it's up to me to make my plan and enact it.

I wasn’t necessarily concerned, just amazed that people think people are the ultimate solution. History tells the story of humanity, as does the Bible. From what little you have said I suspect the Bible is not part of your equation. That’s a place where we differ.

Well, it seemed to me that you were concerned enough to express your amazement in the forum. Again, I don't think "people are the ultimate solution." I just happen to think that there are some folks who think along similar lines of truth, love, and freedom as I do, and many of them are here on Jordan's forum. I wouldn't expect any other person besides myself to save me from a burning house, but feeling that there is "hope" that some few folks might align in the Truth of the One Eternal Creator of Love and Life isn't a bad thing. I'm old enough and have lived plenty of life to have seen all facets of humanity.

Furthermore, I haven't said anything good, bad, or indifferent about the Bible in this thread, so I'm not sure from whence you are drawing your conclusions.

I guess I am one of those who can’t comprehend how people think people are the solution to people problems. After reading your initial statement I concluded you might be one of them; I’m glad I was wrong.

Here’s a tip: If you don’t smoke in bed it will be less likely your house will torch. 🚒

The Millennials who act that way will have rotten lives and they'll have earned them.
