I saw a great tweet, maybe Jordan retweeted, I can't remember, but the person said before Covid they were open to logical gun reform. Now they believe we should all be able to own an A-10. An A-10 is pretty much a jet wrapped around a giant gatling gun. I could not agree more. Covid showed all of us just how important the 2nd Amendment really is. Thank you Jordan!

You mean an A-10 Wathog? 🤣 Love it!

Agreed! The second amendment was designed to protect the individuals right to own powerful weapons, like warships. This prattle about AR15s is ridiculous. It shows how frightened our “ruling class” is.

With Direct Energy Weapons, drones, minitanks, chemtrails, 5G etc., they are anything but frightened.

However, they keep setting up people against each other so that when the artificial famine starts, people will start killing each other at more ease. The real murderers will sit back and enjoy the show...

Martial law will ensue after half of the people killed off each other. Weapon confiscation will still be moot for starving people. There are so many other ways to complete the genocide, especially with so many people carrying the remnants of the lethal injections in their blood...

Back before gunpowder weapons became the norm, the crossbow had a nickname here. My ancestors called it "The farmer's friend", since it could easily take care of armoured soldiers, was easy to make and care for and easy to use.

Much later, when the nineteenth century turned into the twentieth, we allowed ourselves to be disarmed as part of the process of universal sufferage. Now, it is basically impossible to get a license for a handgun while criminals use CZ Scorpion and AK-47s, AT-4s and handgrenades.

And our police is instructed to aim for their hands and feet. I'd faceplam, but I'm afraid I'll break my nose.

Thank you. We all need to remember the nations that don’t have the second amendment and their sad example to us. I’ve also heard the the extremity of Covid lockdowns were inversely proportional to to a nations gun rights. Biden says he’s unafraid of citizens with guns because you need fighter jets and nuclear weapons to challenge the government. Trust me, he and his administration are afraid.

AH, so that's why the cops just stood around looking stupid (I prefer to lounge while looking stupid, but no matter) while the shooter was going to town shooting up that school in Texas recently. They were waiting for their fighter jets and nukes to arrive, and show that smart alec shooter a thing or two.

I can't wait for WW3 on TV (well, someone else's because we don't have one) without a single shot ever fired. After that, Eurasia and Oceania must be in permanent war. If all else fails, the robotic army can be sold as aliens and the Earth must be protected!

Excellent and so well said! There would be no need for the second amendment if it were not for the Government! So lets make a deal YOU quit and resign (federal state and local governments) and we'll give up our guns.

True but I was also being facetious. An imbecile knows people have them specifically because of the second amendment and fear of the government. So for Biden to try and exploit this is truly laughable. Not to mention crime being off the Richter Scale and defunding the police! This article was so spot on! I have never been a fan of guns until now and seeing what the government is doing. You gotta be out your mind not to see it. If I wasn't so uneasy about having a weapon in the house I would definitely own one solely to defend myself against the government. Thankfully I have friends who are trained whose homes I will be running to should things get worse with the government take-over.

Expand full comment

Uneasy feeling about having a weapon in the house? How about the stove in your kitchen... it might catch fire. Or a power saw, Lord only knows what could happen if that's placed in the wrong hands. And what do you use to carve the turkey on Thanksgiving? It requires little imagination to realize what severe damage knives can leave in their wake. Yep, gotta always be on guard against those pesky inanimate objects, as at any moment they just might take on a mind of their own and come right after you.

I believe in a person's right to own guns--just not WAR GUNS. You don't need AR15s to defend your home or Family. And, statistically speaking, those who keep guns in their homes have a higher probability of dying BY their own gun--either by homicide or suicide. "Between October 2004 and the end of 2016, adults in the state who didn’t own a gun but took up residence with someone who did were much more likely to die a violent death than people in households without a handgun, researchers from Stanford University found.

Those who lived with a handgun owner were almost twice as likely to die by homicide as their neighbors without guns, the researchers found. More specifically, adults who lived with the owner of a handgun were almost three times more likely to be killed with a firearm than Californians in households where no handguns were present." https://www.latimes.com/science/story/2022-04-04/california-adults-who-live-with-a-gun-owner-face-twice-the-risk-of-death-by-homicide https://www.vox.com/2015/10/1/18000422/11-facts-about-gun-violence-in-the-united-states

So, you don't think governments have been hijacked and are in war against their own citizens?

The Americans who have been purchasing 20 million guns a year might disagree...

I personally agree with those who believe that a hunting gun is sufficient for the currently-possible modes of guerilla warfare, but an AR might come in handy once the zombies are coming! :D

Not sure which one to expect first, but I would vouch for the zombies! :)

There's a good reason why an AR15 is a weapon of choice. And of COURSE it's something I need; it's something to have at my immediate disposal, in the event that some other brainwashed imbecile should turn up, presuming to inform me of what OTHER inalienable rights I don't need. I might also add that the dubious twaddle that you're presenting to advance your half baked argument is every bit as questionable as it is fatuous. But it is nonetheless quite effective in its ability to persuade intellectually disingenuous snots such as your sorry self to gobble it right up and subsequently regurgitate it whenever your need to feel important arises. You've had your say, now finish your slop serving of Stupid Flakes and leave the discourse to the adults in the room, Nancy Boy.

Nancy boy? Lol…How droll.

Look “Desperately Seeking Manhood,” a couple of points.

First, anytime someone says leave the conversation to "the adults" you know they're the child in the room...

Second, performing coitus on a thesaurus and smearing the result all over a page does not make you erudite (that means smart, lil Timmy) It just reveals your desperation to be thought relevant & finally be perceived by someone as having gravitas. Stop trying to sound like the smartest cat in the room and speak to the issue or feel free to crawl back into your basement and play your little keyboard-warrior games. You boorish, angry lil basement-dweller…NONE of Us are in need of your lexicological largess. That said, how about I provide the opportunity for you to spooge all over the page again?

BUT ONLY IF you can tell us all exactly where in that tiny timtim Timm-y mind of yours do you draw the line on the 2nd amendment right to bear arms?

Bazooka?

RPG?

Javelin?

SAM?

APC?

Tank?

Like the guy suggested below…A-10 Warthog?

How about an F-22 Raptor?

How about an F-35?

How about A NUCLEAR WEAPON?

Just exactly where does Scalia's constitutional lie end in that warped lil mind?

Just exactly what arms—IF any--are you NOT allowed to bear?

You know what I expect from you lil man?

I expect you to either vaporize or to come back & puke a thesaurus all over the page again whilst saying nothing, except perhaps attack me again. You certainly won't answer the question.

So, tim tim...prove me wrong…WHERE’S THE LINE?

The best recent Biden gaffe was when he told reporters that he wanted to ban handguns. That will never happen. But, you see what these people really think when they say something like that.

Expand full comment

Jordan, great article as usual. The part I disagree with is when you stated, “They know there will be no successful gun grab legislation because tens of millions of Americans aren’t going to put up with their authoritarian nonsense.” Forcing masks and vaccines proved otherwise. After being manipulated by the media and threatened by employers, etc. many gave in quickly with no resistance. Many were so brainwashed by the media they went to extremes against their fellow citizens. I can see the possibility of it happening again with guns.

The next media/government fear porn, which has already begun now that there’s a “coincidental” surge in mass shootings, will be guns violence. The weak minded will unite against guns just like they did with anti-mask/vaxxers. If the WHO Pandemic Treaty moves forward they will use the claim made by the CDC that guns are a public health crisis. My questions are who is going to be the one to fire the next “shot heard around the world” and which side will our police and military choose. If they choose the state, we’re F’d.

Expand full comment

It's mostly up to the enforcers (doctors, media people, "scientists" etc.), not that the armed forces and the police are irrelevant.

If they realize that they will be replaced with robots and AI after their usefulness wears out and the millions they are piling up will not buy them a loaf of bread a few years from now, they might also realize that as the latest flavor of "useless eaters," they will be the next ones to be lined up on the road to the "Green Zones" that have no evac plan, only copious supplies of coffins and body bags. I'm sure, there will be another cool plandemic to justify "protecting people" by rounding them up.

Expand full comment

I'm inclined to think that the pandemic, and its resulting authoritarianism, could be the key dynamic in the general public public's ability to muster the resolve to fight for their gun rights, now that they've witnesses up close and personal the extremes to which power hungry sociopaths to go to. If they've no compunction over treating us this poorly while we're armed-to-the-teeth, one might very well shutter to imagine how the treatment will be when we're without benefit of the means of protection or redress.

I honestly think that anyone who trusts the government with their safety is delusional. And that was before the covid shenanigans. As someone who came from Europe, I never quite grasped the American obsession for guns. I still don't (not my cup of tea). However, I do understand the second amendment and that has absolutely nothing to do with 'gun obsession' and everything to do with a very real historical understanding of government wankers.

Expand full comment

I've little doubt that once you've pointed a firearm at a target and successfully overtaken it, you will not only "grasp" it, but love it. Of course much the same can be said of throwing a pie and hitting your target dead center in the face with it, and when your target happens to be a politician, in particular.

How could gun owners stand up to the military forces weapons of the govt.? I would want to fight back, but realistically, they’ve got armies. I didn’t see anyone fighting back against coerced vaccination with guns.

Well, people generally have guns to defend their person and property, not to overthrow the government.

Expect mercenaries recruited from the illegals and UN "peacekeeping" installations (importing foreign fighters, probably from China, seems to have been happening in Canada).

The homeowners' guns pose no challenge for the high-tech-supplied and satellite-plus-drone-assisted armies and the logistic centers will be on some remote private islands...

The eugenicists will fall only if the enforcers turn on them. Not sure how that could work with mercenaries and foreign troops...

Plan accordingly.

Expand full comment

Well this is today’s ‘I hope he’s wrong’ comment. I actually can’t see a remote army finding success this way. US is too spread out. If the just want to take us out, (if this is in fact about eugenics) a nukes are far more efficient. But your larger point holds: the few at the top need many in the middle to act as enforcers.

I also wish I was wrong, but these are the logical next steps after the food riots.

In flyover country, drones can do the job; no army is needed. Military-grade bioweapons can be put into the water supply, food, or sprayed from the air and have a lifetime of about three months. After that, the area will be clear.
