If they cared about Ukraine, they would have followed the Minsk Accords or even negotiated last year or encouraged Ukraine to settle after the war started.

This is a good lesson to any country trusting the US to protect it: the US will use you in a proxy war but won't save you.

Ukraine is not a sovereign state. It is a Russian territory and run by satanic terrorists. NATO is the 4th Reich, and still trying to conquer Russia:) LOL

Truly a "MUST WATCH" interview:

Ukraine: What's Really Happening

L. Todd Wood was one of the first experts to warn against U.S. involvement in Ukraine. He’s been reporting on the war and knew it could 'tripwire into a much bigger conflict.' He joins Tucker to share the truth about what's really happening in Ukraine.

Russia has no intention to negotiate. Negotiations are just a tool to allow them to resupply and refit their army for the next attack. The only negotiation they want is Ukrainian surrender. The only way Ukraine survives intact is to win. Backing down to bullies NEVER works. It is not up to the US to save Ukraine - it is up to the US and NATO to help Ukraine save themselves not just because it is the right thing to do but because it is utterly in the interests of the US and NATO for Ukraine to bleed the Russian army white and remove their ability to aggress against anyone for a decade of more. And it is worth the sacrifice to the Ukrainians since the last time the Russians controlled them the Ukraine lost 4.6 MILLION Ukrainians in the family Stalin deliberately engineers. They understand that to the Russians Ukrainian lives are nothing but slave lives.

Expand full comment

Please stop pushing this drivel. And please think for yourself.

The entire Russian campaign has been to avoid the mass killing typical in a US shock and awe. The initial invasion was not enough to conquer anything and merely an effort to push for negotiations.

The Russians are very concerned about the fate of the Russian speaking people in Ukraine and have been very clear about this for years. If the Minsk Accords had been implemented, then the Russian speaking regions would have been still part of Ukraine but with more local autonomy.

And millions of lives lost in Ukraine in the Holodomar came due to Soviet Union and most of those involved in such actions were not Russian but of a very different ethnicity.

The war was lost a long time ago. All that is happening now is more Ukrainian deaths and more US money going into off shore banks.

As far as I can see, every goal of the West is backfiring. The "economic war” has forced a reluctant but pragmatic Russia into a Chinese embrace. It has also helped spell economic disaster for parts of the West. On the ground in Ukraine, the idea that the Russians will “soon run out of weapons and ammunition” has proven to be woefully wrong as the Russians are now singlehandedly disarming the entire West including, to some degree, the United States. As the inept and criminal Zelenskyy sends troops to the Donbas region to prevent a rout, they have achieved unprecedented casualties during rout after rout. The West has sent shockingly expensive but equally shockingly ineffective weapons to be destroyed or captured by the Russians, many times even before they make it to the front. I’m not sure that the Russians would allow anything less than unconditional surrender at this point, but anything is better than what the Ukrainian citizens are having to endure in this fat-cat proxy war.

Expand full comment

You’re right but none of that matters as the real goal has been achieved- spin up the war machine again, launder money through it, destroy all evidence of past US involvement in Ukrainian corruption. Oh, and likely, the blow to grain and oil is a nice bonus.

If you assume these people are rational, intelligent actors with a master plan, it would seem that way.

Personally I feel that even with all their resources and influence, there's a lot of blindness and incompetence there.

They set supposed goals with a lot of vanity, ridiculing those who disagree with them, and eventually it all comes crashing down. Of course they never admit their mistakes or take responsibility.

That often (always?) happens with the kind of arrogant tyrants who think they should control everything because they are "the elites". Like in the French revolution, USSR etc.

You certainly could be right. The “pandemic management” plans seemed to be evidence of blind incompetence, perhaps mixed with some planned ulterior motives that may have been also botched.

Power-mad and flush with other-peoples'-money, the arrogantly ignorant neocon and globohomo "elite" babble their haughty plans and order other to follow their destructive strategies. Then they're insulated from the results of their failed plans. Incompetent is a nice way to describe this clique.

I’m coming to the conclusion that Putin has been playing chess while everybody else is playing checkers. The war in Ukraine was a relatively inexpensive and low-risk way to empty the treasuring and the armories of the West. Canada is out of weapons and has no real path to re-arm. The U.S. is also facing challenges to replace the weapons it has sent to Ukraine and other war zones. We know that the cooperation between Russia and China is “without limits.” This is far from over -- the West has punched the tar baby and continues doing so and there’s no way out now.

Putin is the only national "leader" in this situation who is truly interested in, and acting in, the best interests of the future of his nation... All others of "Western" nations involved are NOT invested in "their" countries, but in the New World Order. This is by design.

I saw a meme today comparing the population of the G7 and BRICS countries. G7 countries currently have 777 million people, BRICS have 3.2 billion. Western elites claim to be the world's elite and think they can ban whoever they want and control everyone. That's not true.

Do Ukraine's allies have the industrial base to back up this war of attrition? I get that US and NATO can empty their materiel stockpiles and print money. But can they manufacture munitions and replacement equipment faster than these are being destroyed? This isn't 1941, when the US had a large manufacturing economy that could be repurposed for armaments. Nowadays the US cannot even float one white-elephant aircraft carrier.

Very true. Our weapons are mostly expensive, slowly built, and ineffective as this war has shown us.

According to an article, ‘ Protecting the arch of democracy ‘ published on the website of the Royal United Sevices Institute, www.rusi.org a British military think tank formed in the early part of the 19th century, the west no longer has the industrial capacity to anywhere near match the arms manufacturing capability of Russia, let alone China, who whilst silent, are standing behind Russia, as is India. Wshington is deluded if it thinks it can ‘ wear ‘ down Russia. These Pentagon ‘ officials ‘ who claim Ukraine is inflicting a heavy price on Moscow are in fact a boon to the Russian Military. Keep drinking the KoolAid pal, Russia has all the time, weapons and trained, fit men in the world.

I could not find this article, but it’s premise is correct. The RUSI organization’s current featured article, "Russia and NATO: How Did We Get Here and How Should We Respond?” is a myopic screed who’s premise is 180 degrees from the truth and very dangerous. It starts out with all the great things NATO did to placate Russia (like Blinken threatening membership for the Ukraine, and the CIA building bio-labs I guess) then it gets on with absolutely denying that there are any Nazi’s in the Ukraine and rounds up with a super warhawk -we need to kick Russia’s @ss mentality. Such are the current “think” tanks of the West

The west / NATO give not one damn about Ukraine. Biden and whatever passes for his State Department are so full of idiots I cannot even fathom the full damage being done to the world. The dying spasms of the U.S. Dollar as world reserve currency can be heard clearly. Debt is an anchor hanging around the necks of all Dollar users / holders and everyone with a brain knows this. So what do we do? Print more as fast as possible and run hard towards the Green New Deal. Like lemmings over the cliff. The big reset is coming and it will not be kind to most. Pray, plan, prepare and RESIST.

When you figure Russia could have bombed them into submission with their superior strategic bombing capacity, something else is going on here. Not sure what it is but this whole thing makes no sense the way it is playing out now. From a military perspective it is a very weird way of conducting a war on Putins part, i am sure he has an end game that will help him in the long run....or maybe this was all planned by Klaus and his loyal students. Russia has been very careful not to kill civilians and damage infrastructure ( contrary to western media claims). Their “boots on the ground” , industrial style war has allowed them much more precision and leveraged their massive industrial advantage in shell and rocket production. Many people ( like Dan Crenshaw) are on Mr Schwab’s dubious lists. What you posit bears watching however.

I think there are a lot of anti aircraft (US made) weapons in Ukraine and if Russia used its airforce more, it might lose planes. That's a valuable resource to lose and bad for morale. Plus using planes is expansive. Artillery is cheaper, effective and Russia has a ton of it.

And, maybe they are actually fine with this war dragging along slowly as it has. So far it seems to be hurting the west's economy worse than Russia's.

If they cared about Ukraine they wouldn't have supported a coup in 2014, wouldn't have prodded it to provoke Russia, wouldn't have allowed Azov to shell civilians in Donbass for eight years, wouldn't have built a network of bio labs in the country.

They've been intent on using Ukraine as a tool in their imperial games against Russia for probably at least a decade.
