It's not even a question, J.D. Vance. He has proven himself through legislation and actions to be a reliable populist and someone who makes good political decisions. I honestly see him as the more competent heir to Trumpism without the drama or the inconsistency of Trump as well as someone with more intellectual heft. Someone like him at Trump's side guiding him would make a huge difference in any potential administration and there is little chance of Vance stabbing Trump in the back on behalf of the party establishment. Honestly, Vance strikes me as someone who would have been a normal Republican or Democrat in the 60's or early 70's before neoliberalism and neoconservatism changed the parties completely. Another important thing to consider is what happens after Trump is gone. He may not be Joe Biden but he is still an old man. I would rather the torch be carried forward by someone young and competent than have it end up falling apart to grifters and neocons. That is why he is my choice.

There's something about Vance that doesn't seem right; just a gut feeling, but he doesn't come across as genuine. Trump's first term was marred by bad appointments, due mainly to bad advice from people who knew how the game was played much better than Trump, as someone who came from outside the Washington system. This time he will be much more prepared. He needs to surround himself with people who are 100% loyal and have proven themselves to be so. Navarro seems to me to be a perfect pick; smart, loyal and completely onboard with the MAGA agenda. As an added bonus, it will also drive the left insane. Coincidentally, someone sent me this article today about Vance that would seem to back up my gut feeling about the guy. It's from 2016, so it's possible he's changed his mind, but he seems like an opportunist to me. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/07/opioid-of-the-masses/489911/?gift=pH4gQQsLj7KJ1ThMd-e8PqgabIbKGVCCP_ztvQUFrRE&utm_source=copy-link&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=share

Trump must surround himself with true believers this time, people like Navarro, Bannon, Mike Flynn, and Kash Patel. The enemy are always looking to install their own people in order to subvert his presidency. It's hard to trust those who have not paid a price for their support and perhaps unfortunately, that includes Vance.

I lean to Tulsi because I think the sane people who were formerly on the left and now politically homeless will decide the election. Tulsi articulates very well why it's "ok" for them to vote red. As much as I like Vivek, I don't think he adds as many votes as Tulsi does.

Vivek was pro-jabs and pro-masks in the beginning of the pandemic. His wife is a laryngologist who specializes in swallowing disorders ranging from "head and neck cancer to reflux to neurodegenerative disorders" but recommends the jabs anyway. She's GOT to be seeing the jab damage other docs have been reporting. She's either blind or dishonest. Vivek is HEAVY, HEAVY into big pharma and currently is partnering with Pfizer with Myovant. All his companies names end in -"vant" (=want). Riovant (Return On Investment -Want), Axovant, Telavant, etc. and is accused of pulling a fast one on investors with his "new" (failed by GlaxoSmithKline and sold to him for $5M) Alzheimer's drug, intepirdine "re-vamped" by Axovant. He and his mom made out like billionaire bandits, other investors lost millions in pensions. He then rebranded the company name to Sio Gene Therapies. He also tried to get an app developed to tracked covid jabs - DATAVANT. AND finally, during his campaign, he kept saying that "God is real" but he's a practicing Hindu who believes in numerous gods, so which god was he talking about? Not the Christian God. I felt that was very disingenuous to try to get the Christian vote.

This was confirmed to me when the establishment entirely demoted RDS--even though the 'republicans' should have clamored for him to be their leader. RDS did more to refute the pharma-fascism than any other governor in the country.

Expand full comment

RDS should NEVER have run. He listened to the wrong people (or perhaps his wife did). Most of the "consultants" only wanted to hurt DJT...they couldn't care less about RDS or his future.

He is very good in FL BUT he also has the entire legislature and most of the entire state government behind him. Makes it much easier to look good.

In DC he'd be on his own and as DJT found out, it's a lonely place and few will back you up AND you won't have a clue whom you can trust.

She’s a fan of Modi, vocally anti-Islamist Extremism, supports Israel’s right to self defense, is pro-secure, sovereign borders, pro-women’s sports,anti-warmongering and military adventurism, honest, a devout Hindu who is very respectful of Christians, but believes nobody should be condemned if they opt not to align with any particular religious ideology and is pro-choice within sane parameters. Angering the far-religious right.

And she continues to identify as Independent. She’s perfect for the part.😂And she has cool hair.

There is nothing that should prevent Trump the pragmatist from joining forces with RFK; it should flatter Trump’s ego to align with the Kennedy legacy, of which only RFK is a true heir (the rest of them are lost souls).
