As a non-american, what concerns me the most with any prospective future president is one thing above all others:

For peace, or not?

The one thing the people outside the US would aprreciate the most is if the US stopped playing "world police" and stopped using NATO as a colonialist-imperialist enforcer for US globalist corporations.

Expand full comment

I, for one, would appreciate that also. I'm an American that is totally sick of war and trying to tell others how to run their countries. ....but I have always leaned toward isolationism.

That isn't isolationist. That is just not being evil

The tide is turning against the unelected neocons who run foreign policy out of the state department. We the people rejected Hillary. We rejected Jeb! Biden never received 81 million votes. We will reject Dick Cheney in stiletto heels. Unfortunately if you watched Tucker Carlson’s interview of Marjorie Taylor Greene, there appears to be a lot of American first Trump supporting neoclowns itching for war with China...he has to purge. And God only knows to what extent these traitors in our government will go to stay in power, especially as their hold on power slips..and the traitors are worried Trump will return with a vengeance, and they are very worried ....but if he seriously entertains Nikki Haley, for veep...he will have learned nothing, and I am guessing would be a prime target for assassination.

It isn't any of our business fooling with other people's countries. Disband and prosecute most of the UN where applicable. We don't need to be in a club. We are not even good at running our own country! Somebody just needs to flush DC and be done with it. There *may* be ten people who are actually there to do what they were elected and/or hired to do. Ditch the rest of them. MAGA!!!!

Many years ago, Inga-Britt Ahlenius was Auditor General for Sweden and was a legend in the civil service for setting an impossible ideal as impartial, objective and unbiasedv - no party loyalties, just getting the job done fair and square and iar out all the dirty laundry no matter whose it is.

She was set-up and fired in 2003 and parliament took over the appointment of Auditor General. Earlier, it was the resigning AG who appointed a successor to guarantee independece from the state (the remit of audits).

The US then made her AG of Kosovo, and in 2005 she was made AG of the UN. She resigned in disgust in 2010, publicly and openly stating that the corruption in the UN was so great there was nowhere to make a start - corruption was the norm and day-to-day business. She's published a book called "Mr Chance" about Ban Ki-moon, the man who tipped the UN over the edge beyond the point of no return.

She also looked at FIFA and concluded that the corruption was of such a level, it would be necessary to forego presumption of innonence, if the organisations was to be cleaned up.

Sorry for a bit of a ramble, point is most of her statements I only have swedish sources for so I'm trying to sum it up.

The UN is 100% captured and corrupt. All western nations should withdraw any and all funding immediately. It must go the way of its predecessor, because letting nations with a culture of corruption into an organisation made by and for western nations simply doesn't work: corruption is like shit - it doesn't matter if you stir it so you don't see it in your coffee, you still shouldn't drink it. Only solution is, don't let the shit in.

Just to pile on re: the UN and corruption, UN Watch and CNN has revealed co-operation between UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) and Hamas, with the UNRWA aiding and supporting Hamas in the kidnappings following the massacres of civilians in October.

US ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield has received the report, and so has her EU counterpart. Let's hope this helps to break the silence on the huge infiltration by moslems and moslem-supporters* who infest every international organisation and virtually every political party in western nations.

*Often called "dhimmi"; means a non-moslem paying tribute to be allowed to live and remain alive in a moslem nation.

Seriously, though, thank you Rikard for telling me! This is the first I heard of "dhimmi". I noticed more and more muslims getting government positions they should NOT have had under Bush 2. Thank you right back!

Always had a problem with thinking way faster than I type (and worse, talk) so I tend towards a stream-of-consciousness approach.

I'm of the opinion that one shouldn't participate in a rigged and/or corrupt system or process /at all/, but should immediately withdraw and in no uncertain terms publicly make it known why. If the game is "heads I win, tails you lose", why play at all?

Doesn't matter if it's a coterie of parents trying to get their pet political idea into the curriculum or governements being enticed into global supra-democratic organisations - the underlying process and mechanism is the same.

Withdraw funding and support, tell why and make non-negotiable terms for a return, and keep everything on public record; the already honest don't need it and the corrupt are hampered by it.

Expand full comment

I tend to write that way. Or maybe I just try. I am easily sidetracked so if I don't say what I think while I'm thinking it, it could disappear for awhile... That's what's so great about Substack - I get reminded a lot!

You say that, but then we're told that everyone around the world hated Trump. So what gives?

Our media hates Trump for the same reason the american media does.

The average person here (in Sweden) either believes state and regime media and therefore thinks OrangeManBad, or disbelieves the media and doesn't care, or belong to the ca 20% who looks things up before thinking and speaking, and that group largely thinks he was the least bad option at the time.

And of course, when you ask the OrangeManBad-crowd exactly what he did that was so heinous, they're stumped.

If that clears things up?

Can't stand her. She was extremely anti-Trump with her pal Rubio in 2015. I WILL not vote if she is the candidate. Trump will prove he is still poor at choosing personnel if he picks her as VP. She is a neocon who pulls the gender card ( not a qualification).

Outside of De Sanris don't like any of the options. Trump has good policies but deep state won't allow a win and the anti Trump hate runs too deep. I'm more bothered by McClintock, Issa, reps from CA voting against impeaching Mayorka and ensuring Tlaib.

GOP removing Santos when their majority is so thin and there was no due process, no innocence until proven guilty ( think Menendez), shows the deep stupidity of the party.

So, based on their stupidity, GOP will likely pick Haley because she is a "woman." It's all very tiring and predictable....

Expand full comment

I hope that you are dead wrong and that Trump doesn’t even consider her. The problem is that he values loyalty, perhaps excessively (gee, I wonder why?), and she has so far been loyal to him.

But the right wing of the Republican Party (including me) can’t stand her. If he were to pick her for VP, it would weaken his support ..... and he can’t afford to lose a single vote.

One of Trumps biggest strengths is that Biden and the Democrats have proven their totalitarian bent.... with all of their censorship, voter fraud, corruption and lawfare.... picking a VP candidate who supports any of it may prove fatal to his presidential campaign, and more.

The truth is that we don’t know if they can “do it again” or not.

Covid was often used as an excuse to change the rules, regulations and procedures in the 2020 election, often at the whim of local election officials, and the judges let it go because of Covid (which was utter BS, but that was the excuse).

There will be A LOT more people watching this time and I don’t think that “broken water pipes” will be an adequate excuse for dumping thousands of fraudulent ballots into the system in the middle of the night (when the poll watchers were told that counting ballots was done for the night) and all of the other irregularities that occurred in swing states.

Trump himself said something to the effect that if he gets enough votes their cheating won’t matter.

My question is this:

What happens if they do it again and the fraud is so blatantly obvious that it can’t be hidden or denied.... and they still declare Biden (or whoever) the winner?

Expand full comment

Oh, that will happen. They will steal the election the same way they did the last, with papered over windows at the tabulation center, and late night vote drops that come in 100% to zero for Biden.

Then, like Hamas calling families of Jews they killed from their victims' cell phones in order to gloat, they will have their kept media proclaim over and over that Trump and MAGA are losers, and this was the most secure election in history.

Quite honestly, the Poll Watchers/Challengers SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT NO MATTER WHAT! I have been a watcher and a poll worker and the rule is "no one goes home until everybody goes home". Period. 2020 was really weird - the presiding judge for the precinct where I worked was either brain-damaged or a plant. He kept trying to break the rules, I kept stopping him. He wanted to send people home early; I wouldn't let him. I am ashamed to admit that after the polls closed, I stopped stepping in as much. He was way too excited to close out the tabulators and I was running the rest of it. Funny that - one of the tapes went missing. I made him search all of the trash cans because I knew he was behind it. I was the exceptions judge so I did whatever he couldn't/wouldn't do. The clerks stopped asking him questions after 10 am. I have thought about it for years. I really thought he was just completely incompetent. Now I'm 99% sure he was a plant. I reported him to the Bureau of Elections in great detail.

I'm working primary and general elections again next year. I WILL be watching. Closely! I'm in another county but that doesn't matter. I WILL BE WATCHING and I WILL be reporting to anyone and everyone if I see anything even REMOTELY like 2020 again!

Expand full comment

Probably a silly question, but do you think that volunteering to either work at the polls or as a poll watcher would do any good in a liberal county located in a liberal state?

I live in Montgomery County, Maryland where there is no way that Trump or the Republicans can possibly win in the general election. Neighboring Frederick County was “red” until recently but now it’s leaning Democrat, mostly because of liberals fleeing Montgomery County.

I’m not sure there is much that I can really contribute.

If you have any suggestions please let me know...

If you work at the polls, they pay you. I only ever knew of dems and repubs doing watching or challenging. I didn't like challenging as I am not very brave. You have to step right into the voting transaction with the clerk and the voter and say, "I challenge this vote". You have to be firm, too! As long as you know what you're doing, it isn't hard. It requires a strong belief in yourself and your country. Once I realized that I wasn't cut out for challenging, I decided to work at the elections. It was very interesting and if you get a jerk like I did you will learn even more than if you get a good, competent presiding judge. NM is very crooked but during the actual election day, they followed the rules. To a tee. The cheating happens elsewhere. I watched and didn't see anything but they use the Dominion machines here, even though they aren't supposed to. The secretary of state here threatened jail time if the election board wouldn't certify the election. That county's election results raised everyone's hackles but no one wanted to go to jail. Very red county, very blue results. To get started, contact the Republican Party in your county (if that's your party; I don't know if libertarians have anything like that). They can help you decide if you want to watch, challenge or work the polls. I think there are a couple of other things but I don't remember them. I'm a total gung-ho poll worker though. If you want to help, they are desperate for good people. There are several positions for paid work, too. Contact the Bureau of Elections for your county for the paid positions. Good luck!! Please ask if you have any other questions. We're not in the same state but if you want more info, let me know! I'll do my best!

Ruling class courtesy:

Nimrata Kaur Randhawa. Family origins Punjab, India, Sikh. Mother went to Law School in India and became a professor in the US. Father was an Indian professor. They first moved to Canada, then the US. From either the Brahmin caste (top 5%) or the Kshatriya caste (next to top 4%). The elite. The caste that was refined and upheld as trusted partners under the UK's long rule over India. The bloodline of rulers. This is who Nikki Haley thinks she is, what her world view is based in. She commands, we obey. Having the audacity to call Trump a dictator.

These people are frauds. Her life story is sold as coming from a family of immigrants (the inference is that they were poor and uneducated) who became teachers and then opened up a small store that did well. Reality is she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and a golden rod in her hand. Even her claim that "Nikki" is her middle name is a lie. Her middle name is Kaur. Nikki is a nickname N.....K.... Lie built on lie built on lie. Nimrata Kaur Randhawa is a ghoul for whom human life beneath her caste has little value, expendable. Pray God she's never given real power. Demonic evil lurks inside that one's heart. But her smile is so nice. Not.

The $$ being thrown behind Haley is, IMO, not about getting her actually elected. Instead, it’s a signal to every Republican in Congress on where their re-election bread is buttered, and no matter results of ‘24 POTUS vote, those R’s better continue to support the Pharma/Military Industrial Complex, or no more 2-hour big-money DC dinner/cocktail parties for each Reps re-election efforts. It is MUCH EASIER to raise $ this way than by grass root phone calls to individual voters. PAC $$ behind Haley is a warning to existing R’s to ‘keep with the Uniparty program’ even if Trump is elected.

At the end of the day, you have to have the votes. Oh sorry, that’s no longer true. Thanks for this - I think you're right about her positioning herself for a high level position in a Trump administration. There's also the strong possibility that she's a Plan B - a ready-made candidate in place who is acceptable to Wall Street if 'something' should happen to Trump (which, sadly, I think is likely). That doesn't mean the MAGA people would vote for her, but if you're Wall Street you don't really care about that. You just need a Republican candidate that you like. They'll either be ok with Haley winning somehow or losing a (stolen) election to Newsom. Either way they win.
