Like I said a year or two ago, if the US government can steal yachts from Russian oligarchs, your bank account is easy.

I recall reading somewhere that Russia could respond by seizing equivalent assets of NATO countries in response (fixed assets, not paper).

BTW, someone might want to tap DC on the noggin (be prepared for a hollow sound) and point out that when you are hopelessly insolvent and growing more so at an accelerating rate, while already the world's largest debtor nation, you might want to think twice about destroying whatever credibility your increasingly trashy currency enjoys. History informs us that confidence in junky currency, especially fiat paper, tends to collapse suddenly and catastrophically (research any of financial history's many hyperinflations).

We've been kicking a bear. Now, we need to taze him? What could go wrong.

If the US steals the cash of Russia, they commit an international crime. What country will feel safe investing any amount in the US? These Neocons are destroying international trade and finance.

I've got no words for this stupidity. It's "fake African nation dictator in a movie"-levels of retarded.

Oh, perfect. As if the dollar wasn't in enough peril, internationally speaking, now we're sending the message to the world that not only is having assets in US dollars no longer a stable situation, but you might have all of your money stolen by the wholly corrupted US gov/deep state, and then used to attack you militarily.

The US has become a total joke. Every country now sees us for the violent, immoral, corrupt, authoritarians that our gov has devolved this country in to.

There's only one way out of this, at this point. #Kennedy24

So they’re stealing… yeah they’re so morally superior.

Look at the bug-eyed freak, Yellen. What the hell is she even doing discussing Ukraine? How is that part of her remit? And be clear, we are destroying the dollar based trading environment we benefit from so much. The world is watching and it's not just Russians who will disconnect from the dollar. We are so arrogant and stupid as a nation.

Of course, they want to kill the dollar. Every move these bloodsucking baby-boinkers have made has been to convert our shaky (but fungible ) fiat currency into a more-tightly-controlled worldwide Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that they'll use to surveil and control our every move. Not only what we buy and when and where we buy it but also decide IF we can buy it as determined by our carbon credits and social credit scores, whatever the Hell that arbitrary bullshit means. They can prevent us from accumulating wealth by tying our savings to use-it-or-lose-it expiration dates, like frequent flyer rewards. Most of the effete elites don't have a clue about any of these repercussions. They just think how fun it is to pay by waving their smart phones or just their hands. Morons. They'll be the first "useless eaters" to feed humanity's chipper-shredder.

A very slippery slope we find ourselves on. We have absolutely no reason to be in Ukraine ever and now we read we’ve had secret CIA bases in Ukraine along with secret bio labs. We fucking over threw a democratically elected President in 2014 and every DC swamp politician is on the gravy train running through Ukraine. I bet what Obama took dwarfs what Joe took. McConnell is on the take for sure given how hard he is fighting to keep the gravy train flowing. RFK jr is the only person who can stop this insanity. Vote Kennedy in 24.

We may just find ourselves having to continually suffer economic outages when services go down, traffic lights go dark, trains or airports suddenly start having odd problems, etc. The cost can easily top $300 billion in damages, and residual taxes can top that as well. Of course, this also tells the world that we're massively untrustworthy, and not to bank here. I foresee the dollar collapse accelerating.

The fact that a US Treasury Secretary advocates stealing these funds is scary stupid.

I blame our own evil Deep State. If they confiscate Russia's assets it will be to enrich themselves. A small suitcase nuke at the Capitol during the next State of the Union gathering would solve many of the world's problems.

Steal the Russian money after we pushed them to implement capitalism, then use it to give to Azov Nazis. And how does Jordan feel about this? You seem ambivalent at best.

What would the implications be of someone seizing $300B of our money and then giving it to Russia to fight NATO? These idiots are begging to get us all killed just so Northrop-Grumman and Lockheed-Martin make the quarterly profit estimate. Our government is completely captured, and both parties are totally fine with it, while simultaneously funding ethnic cleansing and mass murder.

Your conclusions are correct.

But further; Death of Capitalism.

Capitalism was the Anglo-Saxon respect for private property.

Private property was sacred.

Much of Magna Carta especially the sanction of Excommunication from the English Catholic Church concerned the sanctity of private property. That’s all capitalism was, was. Everyone always made money, the Anglo Saxons held private property sacred.

Because of this the English and then the Americans could outspend and out produce their competitors and enemies in peace and war. We seldom (never) outfought them, not in the British Empire, not in the Colonies, not in the Napoleonic wars, not in the World Wars. We always had material overmatch.

The core of the British Empire was India, it was conquered by a private trading corporation The East India Company which opportunistically went into the mercenary business at the behest of INDIAN BANKS.

They paid for the idea from inception to finish.

The first institutions or governments to restore or reclaim private property being sacred and solid instead of subject to being seized for whatever pretext will ultimately win Dominion over the Earth.

Just as we did.

I say this as an honest man of modest means who is rather skeptical of materialism and critical of our manic avarice.

Analysis isn’t Advocacy.

Nuland, Yellen and host of WEF-owned globalists seem hell-bent on kicking off WWIII. As Tucker Carlson and Sundance at Conservative Treehouse have directly observed, sanctions are affecting the West, not Russia. They're designed to usher in government controlled digital currency. But you start directly stealing Russia assets, there will be escalation. Bigly.
