Man I want off this ride. This is beyond insane. We never should have closed mental institutions, because now we’re surrounded by unstable individuals and they’re running the government.

Mark's avatar

Agreed. In the past, those who had a borderline (or actual) mental illness were more cautious about expressing themselves and their beliefs/emotions due to societal pressures.

Now they feel free to express themselves and even celebrate their previously unseen mental issues.

‘Society’ no longer exerts the pressure needed to control their desires ..... indeed, ‘normal’ society has encouraged and elevated them to the point where these people are actively seeking (and obtaining) new converts to their thinking.

They are now a major (and growing) component of the Democratic Party.

Sacrilege! You're obviously not fit to wear J Edgar Hoover's dresses!

Hahaha, that’s a good one!!!

Do the Ukranian men being sent into the meat grinder know that they are doing it for Mr. Cirillo, Vicky Nuland, and Tony Blinken?

Feral Finster's avatar

Nobody cares what they think, any more than McDonald's asks the cows their opinion.

TheAbjectLesson's avatar

You think McD’s sources from actual cows? I rarely go there so I couldn’t say either way.

William Hunter Duncan's avatar

Most of them are already dead. Included in the hunted down list are apparently all those who fled the meat grinder to other countries, who apparently know who runs the meat grinder.

Or the 14 yo boys being conscripted to be bullet fodder (or tortured if they refuse). This whole thing was a farce Biden antagonized from the beginning. Shame on our population for thinking that Ukraine could ever be “winning” while simultaneously conscripting kids to die for our taxpayer reallocation to the military industrial complex and corrupt politicians.

The Green Hornet's avatar

Well, now we know who’s Zelensky’s playmate.

AnnR's avatar

Take off the wig and they could be twins. Weird.

Is there any sane person who is not thoroughly tired of this shit-show that purports to speak for the U.S.? This depraved clown is not America, I would like to say to outsiders who are as appalled by this garbage as we (Americans) are.

Feral Finster's avatar

It is no secret that Ukraine is a puppet regime, with less authority in its own house than Zelenskii's family dog. It is also no secret that the United States commands the loyalty of the individuals occupying the Ukrainian government.

What does Russia propose to do about it?

Evil Harry's avatar

Probably continue cleaning Ukraine and encouraging the US communist party to spend, spend, spend, until either DC, or the currency collapses.

Feral Finster's avatar

Since the USG can continue to borrow at relatively low interest rates, that strategy isn't working.

NCmom's avatar

The currency can absolutely collapse. You’ve central banks around the world are already shifting to divest from US dollars while the petro dollar is dying at the hands of Russia and China trading fossil fuels in currencies other than the US dollar with 75% of the worlds population, something that happened no where on the planted pre-2020. Printing money or having central banks dump the currency is HOW a currency collapses.

Feral Finster's avatar

Without bothering to address your post in detail, global trade is still conducted in USD at about the same percentage as historically. To the extent trade has shifted to currencies other than USD, it has shifted to EUR.

Again, UST yields are not signaling anything like imminent collapse.

Thomas Taylor's avatar

You go bankrupt slowly, then all at once.

Feral Finster's avatar

The USG cannot go bankrupt, as all its obligations are in USD.

Thomas Taylor's avatar

Interest on the “debt” is approaching $1T annually.

Feral Finster's avatar

Yup, and that doesn't affect USG ability to borrow much.

Thomas Taylor's avatar

Google “ponzi scheme” to understand how the USG is funded.

Feral Finster's avatar

Again, the Federal Reserve can print an unlimited supply of USD.

If Ponzi could have printed IRCs, the analogy would make more sense.

Robert Fitzgerald's avatar

Form BRICS and try not to laugh out loud that death by disinformation is far more effective than heavy metal poisoning.

Probably kill them is my WAG.

Speaking of propaganda, it was thick on 60 minutes last night. I don't usually watch it (or any MSM) but it came on after the football game so I decided to watch the first segment with Scott Pelley interviewing Zelensky. Wow what a shameless piece of garbage that was. Complete with fake hard-hitting questions and cinematic drama.

How dare you question our overlords. Ours is not to question why, but to comply.

TravelingOtto's avatar

Everything you watch on the mainstream networks is a propaganda orgy. I know you and many other Substack readers know this but some alternative sources - the liberty daily or Rantingly (both news aggregators), rt, infowars, wearechange.org, justthenews.com and sites like that.

TravelingOtto's avatar

Since when are people allowed to make open threats against journalists? This man belongs in prison.

As long as they can get away with it, this will continue.

Cruising Economist's avatar

When the rule of law fails that is true.

Feral Finster's avatar

Well, "rule of law" has been dead for a long time now.

Cruising Economist's avatar

Certainly true. In fact legal systems in the US are clearly being mutated into political weapons, as in every authoritarian regime through history.

Clearly this guy is an op. The only logical inference of the purpose purpose is to whip the left into a froth:

1. Posing as transgender. This guy is not particularly credible as a woman, but the transgender flex gives him more gravitas with the hopelessly lost left fringe.

2. Presenting as foregone conclusion that any disagreement with unconditional support of Ukraine as obvious Russian propaganda.

3. Using violent rhetoric against common sense - or anyone who dares ask a reasonable question about your unhinged rant.

4. Oopsy. Didn’t mean to mention American taxpayers (who, by the way, are likely the source for his wages even if he is a completely legit employee of the Ukrainian military).

Kiko's avatar

You're going to get banned for misgendering this person probably.

NCmom's avatar

Jordan didn’t misgender anyone.

Kiko's avatar

That may be true in one sense of the word but in the sense that website owners and corporate donors use the term gender is just a personal decision and has little to do with biology. I think there's some truth to that (for instance some women are objectively more masculine than some men), but there's always a biological component to behavior. Nature/nurture is only a dichotomy since modern psychology became a thing, in the traditional understanding the physical and mental are linked and only become separate through the choice to become a fringe part of society (monk, shaman, whatever).

Cruising Economist's avatar

Ukrainians have violently attacked and killed many people who say things they don't like, not to mention many thousands of ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Kiev is controlled by hateful, murderous authoritarians installed by DC during the 2014 coup and now funded by US taxpayers.
