All true but it is a threatening environment. Mr. Vennaccio mentioned the mid-terms but there is another election next month. The EU is going all out to oust Orban. If they succeed, it will remove our most reliable ally in Europe and also hamper a rapprochement with Russia. Even if they don't succeed, they are working on multiple ways to neuter him. Either way it is a crisis. Other than Hungary only Slovakia is generally positive. The others are all hostile to varying degrees.

Really well written and to the point. Mr. Trump understands the entire picture better than all the so called "professionals". Hopefully the Republicans will maintain control of the House and Senate in the Mid-Terms, otherwise these plans will go up in smoke with all the "investigations"

This is the most incisive, comprehensive and succinct analysis I have yet read explaining the Trumpian logical approach - global realignment. It is unlike anything any president has ever done, is well thought out and well executed. Trump had years to think about his strategy and if everyone would just calm down, the plan will work.

Trump, aka Mr. Operation Warp Speed, is not going to change anything overseas; these countries don't give two shits about him and what he does. We have and continue to have unfinished business here in the United States that he started to address and capitulated on 1.) Mr. Operation Warp Speed continues to take credit and push for the mRNA Bioweapon and Pfizer 2.) He said that we need to move on with the high-profile Epstein International Pedo ring that involves his friends in high places 3.) He touts DOGE and uncovers fraud, waste, and abuse, and yet no one has been or will be held accountable. 4.) He continues to allow Bill Gates, DARPA, and the DOD to poison our skies with chemtrails in the name of climate change! He has a lot of unfinished business to take care of here at home. That's not going to happen when he is one of THEM!!

Spoken like a true Neocon. All of you seem to believe that the rest of the world must bow to the West with a smile on their faces regardless of what history would teach them. Gorbachev tore down the Berlin Wall and dismantled the Soviet block only to have the agreements he made broken over and over and Russia never being allowed to join Europe. And even worse histories befell China and Iran. Venezuela’s problem was being situated on “our oil”.

Call Trump what you want, but don't call him an idiot. Whether it was planned or a luck side effect of Trump Foreign Policy. He captures, literally, drug pusher Maduro and gains control of Venezuelan oil. He is trying to topple (or set up the citizens to do it) the terrorist leadership of Iran and will likely gain control of Iranian oil. That a healthy slice of the oil pie. By doing this Trump could also topple the leadership in China and Cuba. You can't play worldwide political poker unless you have a healthy pot (our military strength) and you know the game. As I said, don't call him an idiot. The Trump Foreign Policy strategy is brilliant.

Sober minded and succinct analysis, probably the best I have seen on the situation so far. Everyone else seems to be losing their minds, even people I regularly listen to. I don't want us to engage in nation building and no boots on the ground either, but it doesn't seem like it will turn into that. I have been waiting my whole life for someone to do something new and when somebody actually does people can only complain and refuse to take an honest look at the situation. I am optimistic and I hope it turns out well in our favor. I am currently taking the wait and see approach. The biggest concern I have is if they can really find a leader who will cooperate. The IRGC is full of psychopaths and I don't know if they can be forced into submission. In the end though I already see this as a win for us. Even if a new leader doesn't work out its not like we are worse off than when we started. Also Iran's military capabilities are severely diminished. No matter what something good will come from this whole series of events.

President Trump and millions of Americans do NOT understand Iran. Islam and the underlying Sharia law is a political system of governance for believers. Iran is a theocracy: a form of government where religious leaders hold supreme authority, and state law is based on religious doctrine. It is characterized by the belief in divine guidance, with officials (often clergy) managing daily affairs. Regime change is more than replacing a political leader, it means replacing 1400 years of two Islamic sects, Sunni and Shia who have been fighting and killing each other for 1400 years. Iran may be Shia, but remember, Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 hijackers were Sunni.

Sharia law is incompatible with the US constitution and the constitutions of Russia and China. Religious freedom in America does NOT mean supporting a religion that wants to replace the US constitution with Sharia law.

The religious hypocrisy of the Shiites in Iran is on full display. They pray daily for the destruction of the infidels. Infidel refers to someone who rejects or disbelieves in the oneness of Allah and the message of Prophet Muhammad. Do the Russians or the Chinese believe in Allah and the message of Prophet Muhammad? Both are godless societies - infidels that need to be destroyed. Yet Iran seeks their help. Are the communists useful idiots or useful infidels? There is no difference: the ends always justify the means. Hiding behind the freedom of religion is the greatest evil.

Agree with everything you write, except that President Trump doesn’t understand Iran. What is he doing that exemplifies a lack of understanding?

Arthur Nimz's avatar

Dale. There can be no regime change in Iran by PresidentTrump. President Trump wanted the Iranian people to rise up and take over their country. Why didn't they? They are mostly Shiites. They don't elect a new leader like the Sunni. How would President Trump, the leader of the Great Satan affect any kind of regime change. He has said he wanted to approve their next leader. Who is this infidel to tell the faithful who their next spiritual/political leader should be? Look at what happened in Iraq. Years of sectarian civil war after the Sunni Sadaam was eliminated. and the subsequent rise and defeat of ISIS a Sunni jihadist group has left Iraq as it was before, primarily Shia. President Trump doesn't understand that he is going up against 1400 years of religious sectarianism.

Most of the world had been in various strict religions' control, but by now, religion is just a weekend accessary.

But, somehow Muslims are still not allowed to have a choice to decide for themselves.
