The minute I saw this story floating around in the media I knew it was likely untrue. The Ukrainian and Western media has been playing this game for 2 weeks now. Even the maternity ward bombing was not true and/or not done by the Russians. The photo everyone is passing around of a young lady with a blanket on outside of it is actually a crisis actor. When she was discovered she scrubbed her profiles.
These narratives die quick when critically thinking people do proper work.

Sadly, 99% of the information coming out is pro Ukrainian propaganda. Ukraine is winning the PR war, but Russia is winning the actual war. This will soon be over as the Ukraine troops are surrendering, an excellent movie to watch that gives historical factual information is available for viewing on Rumble . For Renaud and his entourage to go to this Ukranian checkpoint, they must have felt safe enough to do so, right? What information did Renaud have to believe that he could go to this area? Unbelievable story using 'collateral damage' to whip up anti-Russian propaganda. Absolutely without any decency.

If you want to approximate the truth with regard to just about any story take the opposite of the MSM narrative and you'll probably be close to the reality.
Everyone capable of critical thinking doubted the narrative of this story from the jump. Yes, of course he was likely killed by Ukrainians! And this won’t be the last ‘false flag’ event to occur in the next few days as Ukraine realizes defeat is imminent.
It is the double standards which grate. Israel gets away with shooting and killing journalists, photographers, doctors, nurses, aid workers trying to do their jobs in the Gaza concentration camp while the prisoners are protesting, unarmed, and yet a journalist is killed in Ukraine, by one side or the other and that gets full attention. It is not just propaganda which is the problem it is hypocrisy and egregious double standards.
Who remembers Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndall? Corrie was crushed by an IDF bulldozer, her body literally crushed into the earth as he went back and forth over it, and Hurndall, then 22, was shot in the head in April 2003 while he was helping Palestinian children cross a street in Rafah, in the Gaza strip.
For all its claims of civilization the Western world is a travesty on so many counts.

Almost all reports from the Ukrainian "authorities" are false. This is a fake State, all "official" information about military actions from the government of Ukraine is fake
Thank you for this report .I suspected much the same .It was the Russians who initiated corridors to exit Ukraine ,why would they shoot at a car with people in same ?It just isn't logical ,never mind barbaric.
