And just like the PATRIOT ACT, our fellow citizens will be tuned out and asleep as this gets ramrodded through Congress for Premier Biden’s signature.

And Gab. I'd say this site is more dangerous--to Them--because it promotes open discussions.

Substack deleted Gene Frenkle’s account and all of his comments at Taibbi’s behest…Taibbi and Substack founders are hypocrites that only care about getting $5/month out of gullible people.

I don't know anything about that matter, and would check to see if it is a libel issue, however Substack obviously isn't censoring discussions of matters which "Big Tech" has been censoring for years; thereby deceiving gullible members of the public and fostering grievous harm and death (e.g. COVID injection maimings and killings). Substack provides a forum for exposure of deceitful narratives pushed by self serving authoritarian political ideologues (a.k.a. "book burners"), which is a great service to our society given that corporate media and big tech are now little more than politicized trash.

Substack is a steaming pile of manure that is a $5/month grift.

All you managed to do with your reply is demonstrate that you aren't fit to be part of a thoughtful conversation. You might do better in the shallow end...try FB.

Yes Taibbi is a high level disinfo spook and backstabber. Tells 999 truths to sell a more serious lie.

You are the only journalist that is actually telling the truth here. Are there horrible sides to TikTok? Absolutely, just like Facebook and Instagram. But it’s not about banning TikTok and no one is talking about it. They do not care about national security. If they did, Google would have had its hands slapped decades ago. This is all about more digital surveillance.

Proof that RINOS are no better than leftist Dems.....

There is a reason why they are called RINOS,

Republican In Name Only

Time to start making phone calls and sending emails to some REAL Republicans to try and stop this thing.....

Hell, even some of the less totalitarian Democrats might agree.

But they won’t know that there is opposition unless we tell them....

Everyone is acting like this is a done deal. And it will be if we don’t oppose it.

Call your congresscritter and express your opposition.

Email or call a member of the House Freedom Caucus. They need to know what people think.

They’ve been pretty good, so far.

They can easily pass a bill dealing with Tic Tok alone.....

I hate to be so dense, but all of our reps and both senators are dems. And stupid, besides. Do we just pick a Republican to contact for stuff like this? I'd say "asking for a friend" but I'm asking for myself. (Truth in advertising.) The Patriot Act is bad enough; I don't want something even worse!!

The way the Congressional system is set up if you attempt to contact a member of Congress the first thing is that you have to give your zip code and address. If you are not in that members district/state you will be directed to your member of Congress.

I am like you, stuck with Dementia Feinstein, another Democrat Senator and Auntie Maxine. Hopeless.

It's amazing how alike our countries are: in Canada, the gov is trying to pass something called bill C-11 which is an internet censorship bill. I think what you describe Jordan is worse. By the way, Biden is visiting Trudeau right now (or was last week) so they're probably comparing notes on these things.

I believe Gab and Brighteon will go down first. Sites like MeWe, Substack and Bitchute will compromise or go down too.

Big, visible sites make easy targets. Like the Roman Catholic Church for religious persecutors.
