Trying to buy us off and counting on short term memory loss. For the sheeple, it's a given.

Who has this cash? This time inflation is from your friendly asshole investors, in reality just gamblers

And why did we forget that we had 2 decades of inflation in housing, education, medical... Oh yeah because so many stupid people just look at the gas prices... Cause that's what Pravda TV tells you to do.

But the housing prices? That's "investment"

Sure: Just print more money to solve the problem caused by printing ridiculous amounts of money the last two years.

They're prepping us for a life of serfdom under the burgeoning technocracy. State helicopter money today, global UBI for the jobless "I own nothing but am happy" peasants tomorrow.

Time to wake up and start pushing back while we still can.

Bread and circuses. These feckless morons would give a drowning man a glass of water and congratulate themselves on have assuaged his thirst, and then condemn the man for not being more grateful for their generosity.

The nearly complete absence of people of quality in the sordid morass of elected officials slouching around D.C. is a total indictment of our education system, and a sad testament to our failure to adequately reform campaign finance and lobbying laws. Not to mention the tragedy of not instituting term limits for these hapless schmucks.

Once upon a time, those serving in Congress were considered respectable public servants devoted to representing their constituents. Now they are, on the balance, perceived as self-serving, self-promoting, grasping, and clueless dips with the appeal of an incontinent walrus. We need a better class of elected leadership, and hopefully we get them this November. I am not optimistic.

My thanks for Jordan for raising awareness about yet another act of government lunacy. I will certainly share my displeasure with this idiocy with my elected officials, for whatever good that will do.

The United States is now full of ignoramuses, educated by our government school system, that have no idea what economics is much less how it works. They understand "free money good" and "no money bad". I'm not sure the ignoramus's comprise the majority, but the Uniparty doesn't need a majority...just a base to cheat from. How about a cogent energy policy plus a 100% reprieve from ALL energy taxes until energy costs drop to pre pandemic levels? If tax and spend "representatives" had to deal with a chunk of missing taxes until they could get the fed to stop printing, then things would happen.

The leftist democrats are sinking faster than the Titanic. Believe it or not, according to Martin Armstrong, the democrat party has been sinking since the end of WW2 across the country. They will try to but votes to save their putrid agenda and fail. Joey is dunce-1 and all more money will do is add to the inflation. Government employees are some of the dumbest people on the planet...there are no qualifications to become a big time corrupt politician. As so many politicians have proven time and time again you do not need a brain to become powerful.

It's all a scam. How come they didn't notice the huge inflation in housing education and medical costs in the last two freaking decades?

Housing in most places takes half your income, but we can cry about gas.

Anyway, inflation is not because people have money to spend... All those trillions get thrown into more and more gambling at the casino markets

And the idiots on the Left will dance in the streets with joy.

It cost almost $72.00 to fill up my car two days ago. Couldn't wrap my head around it. Only 14 gallons! When President Trump was in office it cost about $35.00.

But hey let's forget that housing medical and education costs which take a lot lot more of your budget than gas have been rising for 2 decades because Bill Clinton passed the gop wet dream of deregulating the banks.

Yeah commercial banks, totally an unregulated sector...

Give me a break. The banks would burn the world down before allowing actual competition in their industry. Anything short of abolishing the central banks is not "deregulating the banks". It's just altering the manner in which they collude with the state to grift the public.

It’s very sad to see. Even as someone who has benefited from the money being given out, I see that there’s down sides and that what I benefit from will have consequences.

The morons in this country will be delighted that their government cares so much about them. That’s what people who got stimulus checks and EBT cards genuinely feel; the government cares so much about them.

No they don't do nearly enough they're absolutely useless. No one thinks they give a shit do you think we're grateful for being permitted to eat? If the government cared so much about us they'd have given us monthly stimulus checks, we'd have free healthcare by now, education would be free, small business owners would be subsidized more and large corporations would be checked against, and to top it all off everyone could still give their bad opinions freely

You can say you don't like those programs or that you're jealous or whatever that when I was in full poverty I was able to eat amidst the destitute depression and anxiety, but at least don't think anyone thinks this government is competent or gracious in the least who isn't someone with an automatic monthly donation to the democrats

The government expects to spend $6.011 trillion in 2022. How much of that benefits we the people as a whole? How much benefits BigBiz? How much selective socialism? Arguably the most equitable thing they can do is give the same “money” back to everyone. They will print money and spend freely, whether we all get helicopter money or not. Take the money, use it to educate your kids about the dangers of BigGov and MMT (buy the Tuttle Twins books).

It's the ideal grift. No line item budget gets advanced in Congress, just the $$$. Supposedly, members only see the thousands of pages of how it will be wasted just before they vote on the $$$. No matter the party, some minions somewhere are making their wish lists in advance, striking deals with the other side of the aisle. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Laughing all the way to their off shore accounts, presidential libraries, stocks.
