Good article- again; they are hypocrites. But the Supreme Court hasn't banned abortion, they've put the matter back into the hands of the States, where the Constitution assigned it. It is a fascinating document.

you could line up every single one of these “outraged” idiots and not one if them could tell you what the 10th Amendment says or what it means… the gaslighting is endless. Roe was bad law from the outset, unbridled judicial activism always makes bad law. Somewhere in Heaven, Nino Scalia is smiling

Incorrect.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved"

This states that any authority not *explicitly* granted to the feds by this Constitution is not held by the central government.

"to the states respectively, or to the people"

This phrase simply carries on the idea, saying that said authority is held by a "lower" (read, less centralized) power.

The whole point of the US Constitution generally, and the Bill of Rights in particular, is to LIMIT the power of the Federal Government (which limitation has been largely ignored for the past century).

Exactly, in the vast majority of the USA from a population standpoint you have abortion laws much more liberal than Europe's.

Curious that, all of a sudden, "woman" is a thing again.

Spot on. Let's add 'democracy" to that list of prefabricated talking points, too and while we're at it.. bodily autonomy. Apparently, that one is also only as they get to define it. Now, I don't have any particular feelings about this decision other than if people can't see the bigger picture or the principles at work here regarding government intrusion (force, coercion etc.), then I have no sympathy. Does it really matter whether the entity imposing on you is a state government or a federal one? No, it's the same s#@t. It's like a tyrant whining about the oppression from another tyrant.

Get bent, indeed.

To quote Niccolo Saldo:

What does need to be restated is that democracy (which we wrongly mentally associate with “freedom”) has been redefined to be exclusionary rather than inclusionary, despite stated claims to the opposite. The confines of democracy are narrowed all the more as time goes by. To not adhere to the tenets of liberalism (in its three flavours: centrism, conservatism aka slightly-slower liberalization, and turbo liberalism aka authoritarianism) is to be left outside of the acceptable scope of democracy, meaning that you are anti-freedom at best and a Nazi at worst (unless you fight for the Azov Battalion in Ukraine). Authoritarian regimes like Saudi Arabia who fund NGOs in tandem with arms exporters and energy multinationals use these same NGOs as end runs around democracy, but if you protest at the scale of immigration that your country is engaged in, it’s you who is opposed to democracy.

Meanwhile in Justin Trudeau's Canada, I, as an "unvaxxed" woman, will God willing cross the border back into Canada in a couple days and be harassed about my "vax" status, and on refusing to declare it, be ordered to two weeks of house arrest, and on refusing that kind offer, risk a multiple-thousand-dollar fine.

100%. My cousin's wife is unvaccinated (he was forced to do so for work and will be forever angry about that but he did what he had to do for his family) and was allowed into the USA. But she learned Canada is a vaccine authoritarian gulag on the way in. She refused to quarantine. God bless her. This is the only way out. Civil disobedience.

100%.

I thought that the US border was closed to unvaxxed Canadians and all non US persons although I've heard it depends on the border agent.

Expand full comment

It's confusing. I thought that was lifted but it appears it does depend on the agent. Many unvaccinated people are getting through from what I read and hear. Can't take the chance though. Absolutely outrageous what Biden and Justin are doing. Preposterous.

Expand full comment

That's correct. Technically the mandate is still in place but not all agents enforce it.

Expand full comment

And the fine is wholly ILLEGAL. There are ways around this and it entails reminding agents of the LAW. Public health orders are NOT law.

I know someone who is triple vaxxed and came back into Canada. Tested positive upon entry. No quarantine. But a perfectly healthy unvaccinated person (and double plus if they have natural immunity) who shows no symptoms and is negative - two weeks quarantine.

Welcome to Stupid Canada. And I mean this literally and with all my logic and heart.

It's a stupid country run by stupid, VINDICTIVE people.

Expand full comment

Yes the fine is illegal. They are not getting enforced when challenged in court. A friend just told me about someone who was given a $7000 fine and ripped up the paper in front of the official. If I get one I'll either challenge it in court or ignore it, possibly the former to try to help set precedent.

I have been convinced that he was a Castro. The resemblance is amazing. However, on another comments section, someone stated that Latin people do not have blue eyes, they are recessive and Trudeau has blue eyes so it seems he's not. I don't know...that resemblance...

"Latin" people are a mix of everything, including people of 100% European descent. I agree the blue eyes seem improbable but he certainly doesn't resemble Pierre Trudeau.

He is the exact image of Castro. When I read the blue eyes explanation, I accepted it but anything is possible. No, he doesn't resemble Pierre at all, not really his mother either.

I’m pretty sure he is. His mother was in the general vicinity roughly 9 months before Justin was born while her cuckold husband was elsewhere in the Caribbean.

If Fidel Jr. is serious then he'll let unvaxxed American women have access to Canadian abortion clinics.

I have no doubts he'll do just that. And probably on the taxpayers dime.

Please know this people of the Justin Trudeau-free world: life under this imbecile of a prime minister is an endless, balls-shrinking, toe-curling cringe-fest. There are legions of us here who recoil every time his face appears, he opens his mouth or his name is mentioned. Tell the world our story… tell them how much we loathe this cad who of course loves abortion—who in fact fought tooth and nail for selective-sex abortion. Yes, the self-proclaimed feminist loves baby girl-culling abortions too. My beloved American friends… thank your lucky stars for midterms and your blessed Constitution and pray for us… we have three years left of this embarrassing cockwomble.

Can a woman get an abortion at 25 weeks in Macron's France? No, she cannot. After 14 weeks, it is prohibited. Same with Spain. New Zealand is 20 weeks, the UK 24 weeks. Only Canada has no laws restricting it, although the government-run medical system up there supposedly will not generally perform one after 23 weeks.

comparing abortion laws in some of the European countries where it is legal to perform an abortion on demand or for broad socioeconomic reasons: it can take place up to 12 weeks after conception in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Belgium; in Sweden: 18 weeks; in the Netherlands: 24 weeks. there doesn't seem to be a great difference between the mainly Catholic or Protestant regions.

These globalist puppets don’t give a damn about human rights (obviously). The real reason they are so upset and angry is because it’s much more difficult to impose a one world order where States’ rights exist.

Expand full comment

The bigger lesson is that "rights" were a terrible idea. "Rights" are NOT in the Bible or any other scripture. "Rights" were NOT endowed by God. "Rights" were invented by revolutionary terrorists like Paine and Robespierre, in order to create a legalistic path for the revolutionaries to do anything they want.

The same rule still applies.. What the demons want to do at the moment is "rights". What the demons don't want to do is "authoritarian anti-democracy".

Civilized people should abandon the whole concept and return to DUTIES.

None of these concerned leaders seems in the least concerned about the tens of millions of babies that have been deprived of the opportunity of seeing the light, growing up and becoming productive citizens, responsible parents, proud grandparents and enriching the lives of many around them. They do not seem to see the irony in the fact that Hitler would probably have been proud of them.
