If the CDC & the FDA, Department of Health, Congress were worth anything they would shut this down in a nanosecond. But in these days that seems to be too much to expect. The health & well being of Americans is of no concern to anyone who could actually do something positive. Not that most doctors are any less reluctant to make pin cushions out of their patients.

Well, we know what will happen if the Democrats "win" the election... the CDC, FDA, and the rest won't make things better.. they will make things worse.

I am annoyed that Walgreens and CVS are involving themselves in vaccine pushing aimed directly at their customers. Yes, they have "doc in the box" offices, but the pitches are being made around the doctors, not through them.

I did drive-thru at Walgreens recently & the employee at the window asked if I wanted to come in for a flu shot since they weren’t very busy at the time! Why would someone ‘driving thru’ get out & go in even if they eventually want a flu shot? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m done with ALL shots!!!🤬

Drove by CVS and there was a banner outside saying "15 vaccines available inside". Me and my husband just looked at each other. Wow. Theres so many instances where we hear of people getting the vaccines and then immediately getting the virus its supposed to protect them from. Why on Earth would I take a product that might give me something I have almost no chance of getting otherwise? People are nuts! Their extreme fear of death is gonna get them killed!

I recently went into a big chain pharmacy and it appeared to me to be "Shingles Shot Day". Without knowing anything about my medical history, several employees gave me the great news that I was eligible for a shingles injection. And there were various posters further encouraging customers to get shingles shots.

This is really getting weird. I can just imagine what it will be like if and when a "Disease X" Frankenshot is unleashed!

I’m a 75 year old female who hasn’t a shot of anything since I was 10. I’m in perfect health no Pharma blood pressure 125 over 65 but I decided to see if I was “eligible”. I said I was 35-39 pregnant hadn’t had any vaccines AND that I have coronary disease. GOOD NEWS! I’m eligible for 4 vaccines AND a flu shot. This is so outrageous

I’m 61 and I’ve had no “vaccines” since 1963, and I’ve never had a flu shot.

I don’t get sick.

What a creep show. You have to be insane to trust this company as well as 99% of all big pharma. These drug companies, as well as doctors, know so little about most drugs as to how they can harm a person or even if they work at all. Big pharma is not in the health business but in the drug marketing business...their monetary gain is your loos and quite possibly that means the loss of life.

You could see this coming. Their “app” does the same thing your doctor was most likely doing: blindly recommending, out of sheer recklessness (or fear of loss of livelihood), that which is in Pfister’s interest, patient health and actual need be damned.

Fortunately in Australia, pharma can't do that sort of thing, but its being pushed by the Pharmacuetical Industry Association, their game is to allow 'Pharmacists' to diagnose and prescribe. The local Medical Assoc is up in arms, it will cost them their jobs. Anyone else noticed how doctors are very reluctant to prescribe antibiotics,

My last visit the only thing the quack could focus on was "Oh you not vaccinated, you need RSV, Shingles, Covid, blah, blah, blah, you vulnerable and should be vaccinated!", "aint happening". Never mind the lung infection requiring treatment. Doctors are no longer doctors, they are just a 'Prescriptionologist".

My “doctor” knows, that I know, he’s full of shit. I do need a couple prescriptions to be refilled. I wish I didn’t. The entire medical system is FUBAR.

Stay healthy on your own and stay away from doctors as much as possible!

I know, a dumb question. Why is Pfizer, or any other pharmaceutical company, being allowed to prescribe "vaccines" or any medicine directly to customers (patients)? I guess if pharmacists (or pharm acist assistants) are allowed to prescribe medicines than the companies that make them should be allowed. No, not really, this should be prohibited. Where is the voice of the doctors? Oh, wait, most have been bought out by Big Pharma, so they no longer have any moral/ethical ground to stand on. When the suckers start dropping dead, who is responsible for picking up the corpses? I guess it's not the drug pushers of Big Pharma. They are shielded from legal liability. Good job, FDA and CDC.

From UK here. The lockdowns were, among other things, pilots for tele-medicine, digital health etc. Our GP surgeries, previously full of patients, have had few actual bodies present on the last 3 occasions I went there. It was quicker to drive there - 10 mins, than to be on hold for 30 mins, get cut off, and start again! People in pain, arthritic hips for example, are now waiting over 12 months or more, before op on NHS. Many sufferers with no quality of life will pay for private op by same surgeon who works for NHS, 3 days a week. For you US peeps with insurance, in UK a hip replacement costs £15k, much less than what your insurance gets billed. Not on topic, I know, but similar cost of living.

This is why people must be their own doctors now! If surgery is needed, a broken bone, etc., that’s different!

Unfortunately, most people do not take responsibility for their own health!

At 61, and losing my job for non CONvid compliance, I truly get it! Exercise! SUNSHINE! Intermittent fasting!

On a related note: A relative went to visit his doctor for a check-up. After the nurse took his vitals and left the examination room, a "medical consultant" came in and suggested he needed a specific Pfizer medicine for his "condition". The drug was being made available by direct mail from Pfizer, at a cost of $1000 monthly, and no insurance program would cover any part of it. After the first two doses, he was suffering from major hallucinations, which he never had before, and cancelled the automatic monthly shipments of this supposed wonder-drug. Oddly, they did refund his payment in full. But it made me very wary of interacting with Pfizer for any future medication purchases.

Symphorophilia is a special form of "sacrificial" paraphilia (or perversion) involving sexual attraction to staging and watching a disaster.

From Greek symphora: act of gathering or collecting; from New Latin philiac: one having an abnormal appetite or liking for.

This is the first time I've heard this word so I'm not sure if this is the correct etymology. Either way, Big Pharma gets off on setting people up and watching their health go to shit.

Rikard's avatar

Seeing as most terms for sexual fetishes (or "philias") are modern and made-up on the spot from mixing together latin and greek in ways the ancients never used them, I'd say your etymology is as correct as can be.

I came across it while reading about David Cronenbergs movie 'Crash', where it's part of the theme/plot. (And I had to look the meaning up.)
