Fortunately, their moral authority and ability to influence people are decaying at an exponential rate, so when they bring out the tongue baths for Kamala (ironic, huh!) people are more likely to point and laugh than take them seriously.

The narratives are taking shape rather quickly. She was chosen and groomed for this by the Obamas and Clintons dating all the way back to 2017. Identity politics reigns and I don’t think the Democrats would ever pass up the opportunity to plant such a figure that checks all the necessary boxes.

The other truth narrative is that Harris has known about Biden’s decline for years but lied over & over to the American people. A proven liar.

Expand full comment
Steve Dietrich's avatar

Harris was mentored in politics by California's legendary Democratic politician Willie Brown. Brown was known for his love for women at 'the office" and luxuries far beyond the reach of even the Attorney General. Somehow good fortune shined on him. His California Coastal Commissioner appointee did hard time for "selling" approvals from the California Coastal Commission.

Running Michelle would also allow the Demos to dump Kamala who carries a lot of baggage and is neither loved nor respected by most of the electorate. The scheme might include running California Governor Newsom as VP and future presidential candidate. Or even running Michelle as VP and Newsom for prez . They would hope that voters do not understand that California has become a dumpster fire under Newsom.

People need to look into ALBERT sensors. These are federal devices installed at over 500 locations around the USA to "fortify" elections. The very presence of this level of federalism into the individual states election centers, combined with electronic voting machines that have been shown to be hackable (and hacked) 10 ways from Sunday should tell everyone the obvious. Democracy has not been protected.

Elections are a joke. There is no way the USA went so insane so quickly when the overwhelming majority of its economy is of a free-market variety and people are fee to share information. No chance in hell that those elected to most city councils right on through the federal government were honestly elected. No way.

The mere act of voting in US elections appears to signal tacit acceptance of the "democracy" simulacrum that has been foisted on the general voting public, and confer legitimacy on those we are told we have "elected". I think the only way to remove this legitimacy is not to stay away from the polls, but to submit a spoiled ballot--in this manner, the voters actively register their objection, and prevent the system from submitting bogus votes in place of those who didn't show up on election day.

Expand full comment
Justin's avatar

Perhaps by having tons of conservatives going to vote so that it's too hard to cheat. Hopefully by getting Trump (and down-ballot TRUE conservatives), we can get rid of the machines. We seem to be the last westernized country to do so - because everyone else knows they can be rigged. Also United Sovereign Americans is giving state and county election officials notice that they better be able to ACCURATELY CERTIFY an election and adhering to state and federal laws, or they'll be sued.

Expand full comment
Justin's avatar

The psychological effort has begun. Claiming that Trump is going to win by a landslide will lead conservatives to think it's in the bag, and not bother going to vote. Remember the "red wave" that never materialized?

Expand full comment
Bandit's avatar

Ooooo. Sued! Quaking in their boots, they are. Whoever they appoint will be through their term, before that lawsuit gets anywhere.

Expand full comment
Bandit's avatar

And other than not being counted, what would this do? Is it just to make a point, and who would actually care?

Expand full comment
JustPlainBill's avatar

It would still be counted in the turnout totals, but not credited to any candidate. It would be noticed and reported on that the turnout totals didn't align with the major candidate totals, a clear signal by the public that it is clearly dissatisfied with what is on offer, and knows its votes are meaningless.

When you ask who would care, you might be surprised. We have never had a true democracy. We are supposed to have a REPRESENTATIVE democracy, but we don't even have that--once elected, most of our "elected" "leaders" are for sale to the lobbyists.

So what we have now is largely a simulacrum of a true democracy. But ask yourself: Why go to so much trouble to hold what are essentially fake elections (at least about anything that matters)? Someone goes to a lot of trouble to maintain the illusion. Why? Because even the powerful realize that they need some kind of legitimacy with the public, even if it is fake. If that was not true, it would be much easier to just say "We are doing away with voting--we'll choose the leaders ourselves from now on."

Expand full comment
Bandit's avatar

So, the fake elections are, essentially, CYA for TPTB.

All ruling classes throughout history have had to claim legitimacy in some manner, even if it was simply by pointing to the tolerance of the masses.

Expand full comment
Ruth Gordon's avatar

Hmm, tell me more. How do I spoil my ballot when it comes out of the machine with a bar code on it? Maybe I don't understand completely.

Expand full comment
JustPlainBill's avatar

It likely varies depending on the ballot format used in your state, but I think a big black "X" across the entire thing might do the trick. The spoiling is done before they run it through the machine. The only question is whether or not such a voter is counted in the turnout statistics.

Expand full comment
Ruth Gordon's avatar

Where I live, they hand you a ballot but it's really just a blank piece of paper with a bar code at the top. You take it to a machine, put it in and vote. When done, it comes out again with more stuff on it. You then take it over to a different machine and put it in and you get a lollipop. I wonder if between the first machine and second I simply wrote "our elections are rigged" on it and fed it in if the machine would even take it? If not I could simply hand it back to the voter folks and say "I've changed my mind".

Expand full comment
JustPlainBill's avatar

Hmm--I'm not sure how to handle that one. Here, we are given a big "scantron" type form, where the voter fills in the ovals and they then run it through the scanner to count it.

The worst areas for me were the San Fran bay area where I was

Wow, such vitriol and ignorance. There was a draft in effect for those not in college or unable or unwilling to bribe their way out of serving or hide in Canada -- "good German soldiers" indeed.

Expand full comment
Rikard's avatar

You don't think there was a draft in Germany way back when?

Beyond the officer corps, your average german soldier, sailor or flyer had the choice of serving or "going camping", or be placed in a penal battallion.

What the young men of the US who refused or dodged the draft faced as consequence of doing so isn't remotely in the same league as what a 1930s or 1940s german man (or boy) faced.

If "there was a draft" excuses americans, it does germans too. And the english redcoats too - they had no more choice in their day. And the Red Army soldiers. And. . .

You are so correct; those drafted and survived probably still cannot get a proper “due” for their service. Those who died deserve our prayers. The US PEOPLE were lied to and currently anyone after the draft signed up “bid their job”.

Jill knew that by picking Kamala as VP in 2020, that she would be even worse than Joe and, knowing his cognitive landslide was coming, figured she could medicate him long enough to get a 2nd term. Joe doesn't really want to be President. Of course he wanted the title. But he figured that Jill could just run things and no one would say anything.

Now that Joe slipped on a banana peel during the debate mentally and physically, there's a big push to get Joe replaced AND THEY DON'T WANT KAMALA. Problem is that the DemocRATs are trapped especially if Joe continues to fight to stay in and Kamala continues to fight to replace him. The media is playing both sides now for ratings. What they don't realize is how many independents they lose every day with the obvious political BS.
