As Elon has said, we are in a full blown war and the outcome of this war will determine much of our, and our children's, future. Not just in the US but across the whole Western world and beyond.
And most people are not even aware that this most crucial conflict of their lifetime is taking place.
I think Elon is still getting played. A friend got her account permanently suspended yesterday without explanation or warning. Still hasn’t gotten one. It just so happened to occur after retweeting, without comment, 2 project Veritas posts about child trafficking at the border.
What’s really odd is she only opened a Twitter account for the 1st time like 2 weeks ago. She said she followed like 200 accounts (her profile thing showed 0 follows and o following - I guess because of the suspension) 🤷♀️. She showed me her timeline feed at tennis this morning. She hadn’t made any comments in days based on scrolling through it and she said she only ever made a handful of bland comments.
At first she was impressed at what was being allowed and the accounts being reinstated, but now wants nothing to do with Twitter. She said maybe her account was spammy from retweeting, but she retweeted less yesterday than previous days. There were no notifications in her notification thing. Very weird.
I wish Elon well, but unless he literally starts over I think it’s more likely he blew $44billion than anything else. I pay a lot to Substack authors each month. I wouldn’t consider paying a dime to Twitter after what she showed me. It was so bland and so odd to be permanently suspended for it
I agree with most of what you said. I don’t really know what happened. Twitter has never really appealed to me as a platform. Everyone is so grumpy and people texted me the funny memes anyway. I don’t need to be the first to see them.
For the sake of sanity I hope Elon Musk succeeds. The stuff today was a reminder he has a very long way to go and getting rid of the algorithms hasn’t happened. It will take time. But also, with how screwed up these tech compares are, failure is possible and Twitter is still worth avoiding, for me anyway.

Don't be so quick to assume that they actually care about "customers." You have to keep in mind, this kind of corporate driven social engineering is what ESG is all about. Banks will float these companies that are making extremally poor business decisions, so that they can keep pushing social issues.
Look at Disney. They are loosing customers left and right. What do they do in response -- they double down on the kind of behavior that drove customers away. Nobody in the business world does that, at least not in a legitimate market. ESG is how the major money players take control of these companies and keep them running. If they make money, that's nice too.
I think you misunderstand. I'm not saying that only ESG companies will thrive. I'm saying that ESG is used to steer overall company policy. ESG banking results in loans that are not market based. That's the whole point of ESG, it's to coerce businesses into jumping through hoops, checking boxes, and pushing social engineering, while simultaneously benefitting from it.
ESG is garbage, and I don't think it will stand the test of time. Companies that are alienating their customers -- in the face of massive profit losses, wouldn't do so unless they were being back funded, or propped up somehow. Investors are going to run when the business starts making poor decisions, but those ESG bankers are right there to help out.
I'm not betting on anything. I just think that the puppet masters are nowhere near as scared as some think they are. Sure they don't like unrest, and demonstrations, but they control the underlying systems that make the majority of economies work, fiat currencies.
Crypto currencies are going to be used as control mechanisms. That's the whole point. Crypto currencies also keep people from owning anything physical (at least with real intrinsic value) cash does too, but it works without power. You are right about owning some gold. Something with true intrinsic value.
The only reason that Bitcoin has any value is because you can convert it to a fiat currency and pay a bill, or a mortgage with it. I know that there are some banks out there that will accept Bitcoin directly, but fewer are going to jump on now that the Crypto markets are crashing.
ESG is simply a mechanism to damage the underpinnings of society. It's another tool to make larger corporations collective useful idiots.

I just read an article on Robert Malone's substack titled 'wordwide covid-19 religious restrictions'. Towards the end of the article, Malone made this comment:
'Elon Musk has the receipts on the collusion between the US Government, WHO and Twitter, and he is in position to extract concessions in return for withholding those data'
I heard a lawyer opine about why Musk purchased twitter and this sentence falls in line with what the lawyer said, that Musk bought twitter in order to protect himself from certain entities.
If the lawyer and Malone are right, the big hull-a-balloo going on may amount to nothing much.
As far as Musk goes, I'm still neutral. Right now, his interests coincide with those of us who are anti narrative, I'm guessing that will continue.
