Also, recommendations of treating it at home with OTC meds until one was truly critical, then going to the ER. I know of several deaths like that, personally.
Then there is the ever present counting methodology, counting “with Covid” along with “from Covid” as well as running PCR tests at a number of cycles that would pick up many other virus remnants, and calling it a “positive” Covid test.
UAB Hospital were incredible mask-Nazis in January 2022 when I visited a relative having surgery there. I’m sure she had a lot of influence on the policy. The staff were complete jerks about it.

It no longer matters who heads up any of these alphabet agencies. They are all corrupted, bought and compromised. And with the current administration, competency is not even on the requirements list for candidates.
Who cares? I’ll never trust any of these health agencies ever again. We now know what these people are about. I’m thankful for the discernment, however I wish we had real science based health information in the event of an actual outbreak of something serious.
