Totally agree. I’m a second generation American grandson of Russian Jewish immigrants who came legally through Ellis Island in the 1890’s. Given the history of Russian jewry I’m incredibly blessed to have been born at the time I was. I was raised to be patriotic and learned patriotism in school by studying and learning and memorizing our founding documents. Thank you America for being what it is. Now, as Ben Franklin supposedly said, “it’s a republic if you can keep it”. As I age I’m less and less certain that it will be kept. But I pray I’m wrong.

We could not keep it. The republic was corrupted and perverted, bought and bribed by an enemy that the American people were conditioned to believe was our ally. It has bribed and blackmailed our politicians to pass illegitimate legislation like the patriot act and the Noahide laws. We are not allowed to criticize that entity and of late our military has been formally blended with that entity’s military. Ain’t it great?

I have at least two direct lineage ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War; I am still researching.

One was a private. The other was a Drummer Boy (Dont laugh, A Drummer Boy was a REALLY BIG DEAL and very high risk).

I wonder how they would view the past 250 years. Would they say their sacrifices were worth it? Would they view my life worthy of what their's gave me?

It is my upmost hope that their answers to each is yes.
