Terrific job as usual Jordan! Keep it up.

But I wanted to point out a logical fallacy in the "Exhaled aerosol increases with Covid19 infection...." study that you have referenced. This study has only measured exhaled aerosol. It has not measured or studied the Covid19 causing ability of the exhaled aerosol. Yet, in the conclusion the authors say that "These findings suggest that quantitative assessment and control of exhaled aerosol may be critical to slowing the airborne spread of COVID-19 in the absence of an effective and widely disseminated vaccine." This is an unsupported conclusion.

An analogous example is the mask studies that only study the part that masks capture some exhaled aerosols. However, the studies (or on most occasions the media) conclude that masks will prevent Covid19 sickness. This is an incorrect conclusion. If you study aerosol exhalation, your conclusion should be limited to that. If you study aerosol exhalation and the sickness caused by aerosol inhalation, your conclusion can mention the observed results of 'the aerosol causing or not causing sickness'

This is a very important distinction. In short, aerosol exhalation (a proven fact) is NOT THE SAME AS 'aerosol causes sickness' (an unproven theory).

thanks for having the backbone to write on this topic. it is amazing and a sign of the times dominated by group think and virtue signaling rather than objectivity and a vigorous adherence to the truth - that you hesitate to write a fact based story.

what a world where stating the truth - people in poor health are at greater risk w/ covid is likely to receive backlash for shaming people instead of being a rallying call for a better/healthier lifestyle. in another story: actions have consequences.

great closing comment - where are our "public health experts" in advocating ways to IMPROVE our health? the airwaves have been dominated by fear mongering: shelter in place and wait your turn for the vaccine...lunacy

What gets me is the gov's response: because some of us have made bad decisions in the past (having unhealthy habits), and some of us (through no fault of our own) have the bad luck of having other preexisting conditions making us higher risk - we need to buck all logic and scientific research showing no benefits to quarantining healthy people and all lock down.

The USA was a country that fought for independence from a monarchy due to taxation and lack of representation in government; founded on the idea that the individual is sovereign - possessing inalienable rights to life liberty & pursuit of happiness . the USA today is a populace willing to punish people who are harming no one because some people are scared.
